NEE77: It is unlikely we will be adding any sort of control over the level of blur. On Windows Vista blur is either on or off. Sad because on some Skins a lighter Blur would be needed. Ohwell, WB6 just Rock anyway and nothing can be perfect.

There is no need for a skin author to directly access the UIS code. o.O I do... It's the best way to compare two skins. And when I'm importing a part from another Skin, I import the picture then copy/pastle the code for instant change, there better way to do it? Also, any Web Developper will check the code itself one time or other even when using a prog like Dreamweaver. If you want to edit more than one skin, open anothe
WB6 ownz, WB5 was a big innovation to XP - WB5.5 on Vista was a flop though - and now WB6 rules completely in both XP and Vista. There no real complains to do about WB6 beside the Blur/Transparency settings need more work. Blur need to be able to be changed in terms of amount of blur, not just transparency. And Per-Skin blur settings are needed too. Otherwise WB6 is top! (Now, w
To be honest, I hate Skinstudio6 (Well, I never really liked SKS5 as well...) it's worst than SKS5, there no tabs for more than one skins, the window popups just make the skinning progress slower and confusing, where is the code part to manual editing?, bug analyzing and correction?, shellstyle in XP?... Well, there lot of lacking features that SKS5 as. XP/Vista differences just confuse me, there must be a better way like put a selector to show only XP skinning or only Vista skinning parts. Sorr
Yeah! Best of best!

WooT! Finally Vista look nice! http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/43180389/
The skin that has all started this is Ares by MikeB314, I think that there something in this skin that make a problem with WB5, I have installed WB on my test Windows Installation and it screwed up like yesterday, but this time it .finally. applied the skin after something like two minutes after removing the "please wait" splash... My WB Sys Info report is the same as before. I'm rebooting to see if it will lag again. Edit: Nope, booted all OK, just took a looong time to apply
WindowBlinds 5.1 System Information Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. You have one monitor in total. Yea, I have updated to 5.1 two days ago I think (After that I had renewed my OD Subscription) and today after two skin change since the update it totally screwed up, all as crashed it was like if WB as closed up and the explorer as crashed in same time. Also my start menu was all black, so I tough that the activation system didn't activate well (My OD subscription as been ended the 11oct). So I restarted to see if all would be ok or if it would be black like I heard for the cracked version. At r
Some people will cry to have released something before as been accepted wile saying "As been summited for GUIO" =/
You can, mine is deactivated since long time
Well, we are at RC1 of Vista, and first shot of WB for vista as been showed recently by FrogBoy, I was wondering if we will get the hands on a beta build via Object Desktop as they did it for WB5.
In the Schedule page theres two "Begin public voting on Most Original WindowBlinds Visual Style" I bet one of them should be "Most Usable"
Ya, now that you say that it's "Apply The Skin" There also "Reload Current Skin" in the dropdown menu, still do same thing. I know that the whole skin need to be refreshed even if the change is a little pixel, but the thing I don't understands, why it take up to 45sec now when normaly it's way more fast than this...
Hey, I don't know why, but actually it take easily 35sec and even 45sec when I hit the "Refresh Skin button" in SkinStudio. This is the same when I change of skin. Why it took so mush time? Generaly it should take less than 15secs... It's somewhat annoying to wait 45sec to see a minor change in your skin when you are working on a skin... Any tips to make this faster?
Well, I have needed to reinstall Windows two days ago and rebuild the whole PC today. After the reinstall I choosed the lastest Final version Everything goes well now... So, I point to the lasted Beta as the bogus. This will teach me about reading info dialog that talk about "auto-archive current build"
How I can rollback it?
Well, since last update of WB5 (6/6/6 bad luck?) My WB is all fucked up. It look almost like the cracked WB screen that I saw, exept that not anyting is always black, sometime it's ok other times there nothing (No borders at all) This started today as I changed my skin for the first time since that update. I have also try to uninstall WB in safemode and reinstalled back after in normal mode, no luck, still bug. The
ATi Radeon x800GTO 256MB PCI-E Catalyst 5.12 - 5.13 - OmegaDrivers No prob for now... My 7500LE 64MB as got some trouble with the Beta of WB5, I will check up with the lastest to see but I think it's to old to support PerPixel... (Edit: Hum ya, saw it at t
I'm a ATi User... and i'm not happy... -_- I have a Radeon x800GTO and yes for the performance/price it's a good buy, but now with the release of the 6800GS I fell now bad... But I had ordered this x800GTO before that the GS come avalible... But if you look matter of power in the TOP END... "Generaly" ATi won... Radeon 9800XT was OWNING the Ge
That wbload data got wadded up into a DLL and is still there, just not listed as a process. Not a bad thing, but the "native" claim is misleading. UXTheme (The Native Skin engine of XP) is a DLL too and ofcourse it's loaded in the system too but now WB5 replace it by a better skining engine, there is
