I still cant download that one, even manually. I did try and delete the one I found in add and remove programs, but it told me it had been deleted. I think the registry values to it may still be in there, though corrupted. The registry cleaner wouldn't clean all of the values without registering it. I just hid that one download.

Yrag had us try a program called *hijack this* last night because we were experiencing similar problems. http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html I can't interpret it for you though, but maybe someone else could. He also asked if I was using IP 3.0 and suggested rolling back to an earlier version.

Well, first thing I Generally try is a full spyware scan, online preferably. I use http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ (make sure you chose the complete scan, the one that looks for pests). When did this start happening?

I was using a Registry cleaner and ran into a problem. I think what happened was that I had updated my graphics card driver and then decided to wait to reboot. After I rebooted it was a horrible mess until i could get to the drivers on my boot disc. That was my fault though, so I guess I can try again. What I learned was NEVER RUN A REG CLEANER POST UPDATE PRE REBOOT. Thanks again Gary. I went ahead and updated Java

sorry I was away for so long. I was reading it and decided to uninstall some things I thought were gone already. While i was in add/remove I found that hotfix that keeps trying to download only it isn't with the rest of them. Should I delete it?

I'm running a quick spyware scan right now. I ran trend-micro a few days ago, the complete scan, and it was ok. MSN antispyware runs every night and adaware runs frequently.
