oo  That last blue screen I saw was rather painful.  Thanks for the warning.

Ah well, Helen.  I'm not trying to argue or anything.  We have asked everyone to put their links there, and I know that when I am looking for someone's site I always look there.  I don't go looking back through all the pages. There have been so many requests to post links and this way we are fair to all the people.
I don't know of another WC in french.  Your english seems good to me!
Helen, it is not judging and categorizing.  That thread is always there where people can always find the link they want.  Otherwise they slip down and off the page. Lots and lots of people have sites they want people to see, and this way everyone always knows where to look.
You're welcome.  Sometimes, though, skins  have included backgrounds and you won't see them with that box unchecked.  You can always enable it for that particular skin if you want.  If the skin doesn't include a background I guess it applys the defaults.
In the center section, in the section *skin window backgrounds*, is that box checked?
Open your windowblind configuration.  On the left click on *basic settings*   On the right you will see two tabs.  Click on the one called backgrounds.  Uncheck the override button.  That should help.
LINK ..... so THAT'S what happened......
Nobody knows I have such a temper... but I do.  In some of her last days my Mother said that she had rarely seen me angry, but the times she had it was *impressive*.  She said it was powerful, concise, intelligent, to the point, humuliating, and logical to a fault... For me, I don't remember much beyond the moments that my hands clenched, my sholders squared off, my whole body tensed.&nb
I expect you don't wear anything under those   /me speculates
Feel better soon, KG.  I know how junk it feels to be having one thing happen one after another.  We will keep your spot here warm and safe for when you come back.  (((HUGS)))
tealfan, Tiggz usually makes applications that lets you switch through various modes and colors.  On those two, it is the button with a square in the center.  For the BBC News you have to  doubleclick.  To change the transparency I clicked on the background and in the properties, in the *states* tab, I changed the transparency for the inset mode.  I also changed the color of the text.

O..... It's way too hot for a chocolate bra.....
hehe   Good one.  Bandwidth theft like that can really run up expenses.
Well, speaking from my experience I was pretty clueless when I first started using the Internet.  I visited a lot of sites that I know now were ripoff sites.  The Internet was something full and free and anonymous. It was only though reading conversations here on this message board, through talking to the artists and developers, through reading all the threads on rips and copyright theft and file sharing that I started to understand.  If this place had not been as friendly
Because there were so many ripped images there from so many members, I only provided links to a few along with links to our originals.  Then I asked them to talk with their members.  My thinking was that they would perhaps make some kind of announcement and people might delete their uploads.  In a little while, we can look again. I think that it is more a situation of ignorance rather than malice.
Diane, Thanks for the heads up. We will be deleting all of the gallery uploads that you informed us of, and also be warning the members who uploaded the pictures. We have a clientele base of more than 600,000, and each must agree to our Terms of Service which warns that copyrighted images are not to be uploaded to the gallery. Once again, thank you for informing us of the situation, and we will deal with the members accordingly. Sincerel
I think that the site in question is not a wallpaper site primarily.  It seems to be some kind of site that offers storage, an email account, a gallery for images, and blog space.  I am speculating that there are quite a few users that do not understand issues such as copyright.  Perhaps all that needs done is that the admin needs to explain those issues and delete images or accounts that are in violation and do some policing of the gallery.
Looks like a letter to the sight admin is in order Now I need that spellcheck icon... I can spell better than that, honest! Letter (spellchecked) sent with a CC to Jafo.
hehe... I've been looking for one of Paul's rip letters for a guide (where are they when you need one) but it looks like I will have to think of my own words (to compliment yours Apocalypse_67).
