That all sounds like good stuff! On the message board, it might be cool if the primary message always remains visible, and all the replies page after that. It seems to help people keep on track. Also, it is sometimes useful to be able to click on the persons name and see a list of recent posts...
No you are not the only person. I think this is something they are aware of, so probably there will be some kind of fix soon. There was an ud today, but I'm having troubles with meters now so if you apply it make sure you archive the old build.

I have been getting logged out a lot lately. You might want to get in the habit of copying your posts before you click the *submit* button. It can save a lot of frustration.
I think it would be a nice addition to have a place where people could put links to their sites. Maybe like an addition to the Community links or something. That way, people always know where to look. there is no worry about the message board getting swamped and links are always accessible. I know at our forum it is always interesting to look through the various sites that our members have made.
I'm not going to be bashing. I will just tell you how it is on our forum, which is quite different than this one. But still, its a forum. We don't allow promotions on our board period. If we allowed for one member we would have to allow for several thousand others and just letting one in has generated several more in a day. We have, however, provided a place where people can place a link. Even though there are times we have wanted to be more lenient, we have found it to be a mistak
