Demigod ForumsI just had the same thing....1 last token. I got evil islands after reading some reviews on it. I am just getting into it but seems like a solid fun RPG.

I just signed up for their beta. Anyone know any other games they will have? Wing Commander FTW!!! I tried the dosbox thing and I got to one of the missions and everything runs just a little fast so it was impossible to complete the mission.

I agree. Kryo says that is in the works. They are making a decision on it soon. I did notice if you search in google for demigod it links to this page a not GPGs original page.

Limited number but they said that they will warn just before it fills up. In other words you are probably in because no warning yet. We believe that stardock now has bits and pieces of the game and that it is in the works.

Oh boy now I better find the article. It looks like it was not gamespy. I know it said in quotes about it being 10x faster because it really stuck out to me. Probably in actual chat it was one of those exagerations like to tell someone something is faster you say it is like 10x faster. :)

Yeah 7800 are pretty cheap and still are agp. I also read recently I think it was in a gamespy article with an interview with Brad that the engine is tweaked to run 10x faster then supcom.

Yeah the forums get slow at times and cause double post. Been playing DotA for the last couple of months against AI and friends. I like it. Demigod FTW. Oh and if you guys are worried about it turning out just get in the beta. I know the stardock/ironclad guys listen very closely to feedback from the testers. Hopefully GPG learns to work with Stardock the same way Ironclad did.

Just remember the tax rebate counts as income. ;) In other words it is not as big as it looks. From your specs looks like you may just need to bump up the RAM a little and get a better GFX card.

It looks like they are doing the same thing as Galciv 1 and 2 as well as SoaSE. That means you pre-order you get to be in the beta. The process is awesome because they literally listen to everything the beta testers say and tweak it and release new versions all the way to release. In other words that is how all the games listed above have been hits because they basically listen to all the people who own the game already and build it to what they like/dislike.

Sins ForumsI think it is going to be based on the basics of DOTA but have alot more to offer. I just started playing DOTA because I wanted to get an idea of what Demigod is about. I love DOTA but want more variety. Looks like Demigod has variety as well as looks awesome. BTW I am crossing my fingers that it will be the usual beta process were you pre-order and you are in the beta. :D

I actually have been running into the same thing. I always check the open games and recently it looks like no games are going and the same people are sitting there but are afk. Of course I am not sure if when a game starts the game is no longer listed in the join game channel. If they do disapear when the game begins then I am way off.
