Wow I have never used totalgaming.net before and it was so easy. Plus looks like I will be able to save some cash on a couple of other games. Not sure why I did not get galciv2 that way. Thanks Craig for the back door info.

Looks like I missed Beta 1. In fact I found my way over from the gamespot site and never knew about this game until today. Do I just pre-order now and I can get into Beta 2 when it comes out? I beta tested galciv2 and I think stardock/ironclad do an awesome job at listening to the community for suggestions. Can't wait to get in beta 2 and thumbs up to stardock and friends.

How do the metaverse scores work. I submitted my first score and it showed up fine. The second game I posted was around 6200 points but on the metaverse my total only went up about 1500. Is there something I am missing? Is it not the total points of all the games you played added up to get you total score?

I am now all set. It took about 15 minutes but update is now downloading.
I pre-loaded all the files the other day. I click on galciv 2 and pre-load/update screen. I click update and SDC comes up but nothing updates. Any ideas?
I hope they wipe the Metaverse. I was a beta tester but was never a part of the gamma test. I had a previous post about 2 weeks ago and the official reply was that it would be cleared but so far it has not.

I played the out of date beta and I loved it. I can't wait to get my hands on the full game. Obviously the people who review the game probably have a pretty close to complete copy and are playing. I honestly won't believe someone could give Gal Civ 2 a bad review. Of course that's my opinion. If I were stardock I would not be worried about the reviews because I have a good feeling they have nailed it with Gal civ 2.
I pre-ordered the CD-ROM to play the beta and it will be the collector's edition. Of course I am going to download the game since I don't want to wait for the cd to arrive. The question is will I get the collector's edition content when I download it? If not do I just wait for the game to arrive and then install the extra content from the CD?
I went out of SDC and back in and there was another update. I updated and the game came up.
I can't get Gal civ 2 to come up on the games list. I updated registration. I used my serial number and selected gal civ 2 in the drop down and hit register. It still did not come up in the list. It seems like I am missing something.

So is the metaverse going to be reset after the game launches? Also are there going to be any changes to the current metavers setup on this site? By the way I loved Gal civ and the the beta for Gal Civ 2 has been fun. Can't wait to get my hands on the game. Definitely going to pre-load the main files tomorrow to help you guys out.
I think I got it now. Of course that is if 0.28b is Beta 3.

I pre-ordered just after beta 2 and so I had to wait for beta 3. How do I get it. I downloaded and installed stardock now what?
