Factories give you build credits on a per planet basis. These build credits can be used for building more buildings (labs, farms, etc.) or ships. That's why you can build the Xeno lab faster after you've built a factory (and for that reason, I generally build a factory or two before anything else on most planets). Your initial colony has a few build and research credits that it can throw around, but if you are trying to make your colony expand at fa
Sorry to add to the mess. I was trying to download the game, and got an installation failed message. As for the "Spin Control", it's not necessarily simple to detect spin. A sudden 5X power jump would be obvious to humans. However, let's assume: Some random target number "T" between 3x and 6x is selected. The observed power of the military slowly advances from 1 to T over several (perhaps 10 or 20) turns. Once T is achieved, a new value of T is selected, an
Hey- I was wondering if the ability to name ships was implemented in the game? It seems like, with all the resources going into shipbuilding, it would follow that the custom ships were given individual names (instead of warbird class cruiser #4) or whatever.
