I say this a 25 year technology veteran and current CIO. Brad, the company that you founded and stear is a very rare gem in the IT world. I know of no other company in any market space that is this in touch with it's consumer or is as visibly interested in their feedback. And believe me Ihave met with alot of them... I back my respect with my dollar, I own very game Stardock has brought to life and will continue to do so. The love for your craft does shine t
I know most of these have been discussed after a search of the forums, but would like to cast my vote. Roads. They help me feel like my kingdom is “connected”. Doesn't have to be a huge strategic implementation but could certainly speak to the movement issue and maybe some sort of trade bump. Really like the beach idea but they are so rare seafaring recedes as a strategy to be pursued. I like the ability to impose my will on the environment (
Brad has often said that Gal Civ will scale to take advantage of the ever increasing capabilities of the PC, I would think/hope that philosophy would influence projects that he is involved with. Yes, Gal Civ – Sins two different games, two very different engines but the p
Does anyone have a clear understanding hard walls are there? Are the OS specific? Hardware specific? Some combination of both? Has the community on average moved past them?
Happy mod’rs=happy gamers=cult like following=game stays on hard drive=ironclad/stardock $ As always we’ll take as much as you will give us(without breaking the engine) and ask for more…. <span st
Anybody have any idea when the forge tools will be release? Cheers.
Cobrattack, did you ever find an answer to your question? I have the same issue. Thx
Not sure if this is possible but.... I made a simple change to the TEC Gauss defense platform (changed the range from default 6700 7500) and the change didn't show with the MOD enabled. Change a few obvius things like cost and base level defense and they arn't showing up either. First try out of the gate so I'm sure I missed somthing.... Are there linked files that need to be changed also? Thanks
We should be able to create diplomacy missions for other civs. One way missions make you their (say it with me) biotch.....
First time I have ever bought a game and have felt like I was part of a "team". I still think it would be really cool to be able to customize star bases like you can ships.
I think it would be really cool to be able to add the "bling" to starbases like you can to ships. What do you guys think?
Under the catagory "that would be cool". I think it would be neat to be able to add "jewelry" to starbases like you can with ships. What do you all think?
Not lost.. think of it as an investment
Same problem as DocDVD
Merry Christmas from Arizona
Totally agree. The underdeveloped planet is basically rendered useless [social production wise] for 100+ weeks building a factory. or anything... Popup: Yup, I too don't research high factory techs till I think that the bulk of my colonizing is done.
snort... lol... I usually wish I could turn up the AI in early games where I'm still learning but have invested abunch of time in a game and fibd myself wishing for a tougher opponent becuase my knowledge of what works and doesn't has grown.
Not sure if this has been suggested before or how feasible it would be but... I have always wished that turned based stategy games would let you change the diffuculty setting during a game. I often find myself in a game I wished I had set the AI higher or lower. I can't remember any turn based strategy game ever letting you do that....
Yeah, I think you guy's are probably correct, I think the prior build let you really squeeze your people with not as much consequence hence the sloppy play style. This is much more realistic, as long as the AI has to deal with it too...
I suddenly find myself completely focused on keeping Moral under control. Is this the emphise that Moral will have in the final Game? I'm sure my play style was sloppy when it came to Moral in previous builds, but half a planet with Moral projects and still @ 57% seems outta wack. Looking for new stratagies to keep the masses happy.....
No, I was using the menu to leave and start a new game while I was still in a game.
CTD after the third "New" game in a row...
