I shouldn't be writing this. Not really. I'm tired. Didn't get much sleep last night. Probably because I didn't go to bed until after 2 and was up bright and early this morning. I have one more obligation this quarter, and then it is over. Thank God. <span style="font-size: mediu
I'm thinking of writing a letter to the editor explaining to non-runners the reasons why most runners prefer running on the asphalt to the cement sidewalks.
This is probably your best bet. It sounds like the paths are open to all for whatever recreation required. I think a letter addresses the issue directly without addressing the screamer....great idea.

My 1st question is..are there no rules posted for path use? Usually when recreation paths are installed, a sign will be posted detailing what they can and can't be used for. If there are no signs, is there a policy within your housing area/subdivision? It sounds like in the year and a half since you've been there, people have started talking about "the runners on
I'm currently reading Nalini Singh's novels. I really like the world building/lore and character development she puts into her stories. I feel she's one of the best writers in the paranormal romance/dark fantasy genre. I highly recommend her if you haven't read her books yet.
Thank you for the recommend! I am currently looking for a new series...I will check her out this week! Woot!
You know that a lot of books come out as hardcovers first, with a softcover release several months later right
Well yeah...I have a read a book or two in my time. But JR Ward only published in paperback until this latest in the series. Hence, my angst.
I goes to the library
I use the library a lot. But since "romance" isn't proper literature, they only order one copy, maybe two, and there is a waiting list of about 6 months to a year. While the proper literature almost never has a waiting list of more than about 1 person.
I have a friend who likes this series. That's pretty much all I have to add.
<span style="font-size: small;"
Adrian said someone should shoot him in the face.
Actually I'm pretty sure I saw that he was drunk, shot her, then shot himself in the head. The picture I saw of him, he wore an eye patch. Maybe he shot his own eye out. Still, that's not even close to what she has to live with the rest of her life.
I'll be in Dayton next week. The husband and I are driving in from Lynchburg with David and Aly (about 8 hours) on Tuesday. We'll be staying with Brian and Amanda until maybe late Friday.
Call me if you get a chance...I'd like to see you. Hubby is out of town for a couple months though, and I am swamped with a community service project, so we'll play it by ear. JR Ward's 7th book, Lover Avenged, of the Black Dagger Brotherhood (BDB) series is out. Technically the books are "romance" but when you actually read them, there is much more happening than just lovey dovey all the time. Lots of really good action/fighting scenes with const

I am so sick. I shoulda known. Yesterday I was feeling kinda warbly. It's a feeling somewhere between a brain fog and shaking uncontrollably. I thought it was too much caffeine. I don't get sick very often. The crud is going around. No, not that crud. Just a cold/flu/upper respiratory thing. I couldn't sleep last night, my mind spinning off in a
ha. That was my first comment (after being mildly surprised)......basically "get out of that house." A nice house with a private backyard would be nice. I remember when we had my third child (also in three years)the same thing happened to us. We had to move and we did when the youngest hit about six months.
Now is the time to find a rental! There are a few over here by me. Almost an acre yard....big houses.... However, they can get more for their bu

Wow. [e digicons]:O[/e] That's a lot of kids in that little townhouse...heh. Maybe they should move off base, or try and get a bigger place once the baby comes...unless of course they PCS. Congrats!
It's one of those heart in your throat moments I can do without if you know what I mean.
Yeah I do actually. My aunt started saying this exact same thing to me when she was diagnosed with cancer. My dad says it occasionally, but its more from shock than any deeper emotion. It's like, "Tonya, I can't believe...I mean, I think its great..." <span style="font-size: s
