wbload unload should unload WindowBlinds. There isn't a method supported by WindowBlinds to end the screen.exe process, but you can terminate this with the command taskkill /IM screen.exe -Mike [Stardock Support]
The docklets will run differently than any shortcuts as these are separate applications. A docklet's behavior (position, events) is handled by ObjectDock, but its functionality is dependent upon the docklet's code. Click events are handled by the docklet. -Mike [Stardock Support]
It may also be worthwhile to check up on DWM. Go to Start->Start Search and type services.msc . Look for Desktop Window Manager Session Manager and ensure that's set to automatic and started. I've seen this service go awol on clean installs of Vista. I think it might be a casualty of battles between not completely stable video drivers and the system, or just simply poor design. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Right click on the dock -> Dock Settings. Choose General and click the Miscellaneous Options button. It's the first option here. When shortcut is run, if program is already running bring it to the foreground only -Mike [Stardock Support]

Have you had a look at https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/documentation/index.asp ? I personally believe (as having received no official training on this myself) the documentation there is sufficient, for the scripting side of things at least. I think that considering what you're trying to do, scripting would give you a lot more control and flexibility. Just include support for Object_OnSt

Are you getting any kind of an error message? What kind of priveleges is your account set up with? You could try logging on as Administrator and deleting the keys from there. -Mike [Stardock Support]
In that case it sounds like the SDC install had not gone through successfully. Do you have any other apps installed (that you had installed through SDC)? If so, uninstall these through SDC. Once done, delete the entire SDCentral folder (after closing out of SDC of course). Go to Start->Start Search and type regedit . Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software Delete the Stardock key out of both locations. D
