Alternatively... If you need to access your serial number to any product you own, just launch Impulse ( http://impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe ), click the question mark at the top right, and click "Register a product with Impulse." From here, you can right click any product and are able to copy your serial number (which you can then paste using Ctrl+V at any time.) The "SID not matched" error refers to the sig.bin file that is either within your game/product directory or wit

Which dream is this that you're referring to? Mike
Within the registry... Failing finding the key in the usual HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, it may be under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify Mike
banned for playing the banned game when you should be out getting a sweet avatar.
Given that Multiplicity is one of the few applications used by nearly every computer in our office, I doubt its lifetime is coming to an end any time soon. [e digicons][/e] Mike
Sorry I missed your post. There was actually a forum post made in regards to this package last year: https://forums.stardock.com/343038 As far as I am aware, there are no plans to cease development on either KeepSafe or Multiplicity, however purchasing a ThinkDesk subscription renewal may prove difficult, as this is no longer offered. Mike
I think this particular feature may have been overlooked since it is less commonly used as you are describing (and to make the action of creating a fence more apparent). I will report this to the Fences developers, however. Mike
Thorsten: You should no longer receive any mail from Stardock. Mike
Multiplicity standard allows you to align your monitors either horizontally or vertically (not a combination of the two, however). The feature Excalpius mentioned is really slick, as you can drag and drop the various secondaries in your list to arbitrary positions to represent how the monitors are arranged. Mike
Is her background possibly set with active desktop? If so, try using a standard image instead and see how that works. Mike
You can resize the desktop icons at any time, as it's a native win7 feature. Just hold Ctrl and scroll with the mouse wheel. Mike
I am not sure how feasible such a feature would be, but I will submit a feature request to the Fences developers. Mike
No problems here on Win7 x64. Which sound package did you apply? Mike
That's not a bad idea -- I will submit that as a feature request. Mike
What is the size of the file? (Right click the file -> Properties) Mike
I grabbed DragonAge (for xbox360) and L4D (with the $7 steam deal). My friend got me Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (for xbox360), thanks Cyndi! [e digicons][/e] Mike
I would also attribute this kind of problem to be a permissions issue. In the case of WindowBlinds, try navigating to the WindowBlinds directory (right click it within Impulse and choose Open Application Folder ) and run SevenConfig.exe directly (using the right-click -> Run As Administrator). This should be located within Program Files (Program Files (x86) on 64-bit) \Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds. At that point, it should prompt for activation and you can u
Customizing the fence color is possible in Fences Pro. You will notice here that my fences have a nice bluish hue: Mike
This type of issue is usually caused by a security application interfering with the file being downloaded. To workaround this problem, you will need to either add Impulse as a trusted application, or if nothing else, disable the security application temporarily. You may want to be aware that Stardock Virtual Desktops is unfortunately not supported on Win7 (32 or 64-bit). See here: https://www.stardock.com/products/vwm/
swekenchu: I've ensured you have been completely removed from the mailing list. I apologize for that. Mike
I see what you're referring to. I will submit a feature request to the Fences dev team in regards to the persisting dragability of the top portion of the fence even when the fence label moves to the bottom. Mike
I apologize that you have continued to receive promotional mailings despite the fact that you had opted out of these. I've just gone into the database and ensured you have been removed, so you should be all set at this point. Please do let us know if this persists. Mike
Could you submit an email to and reference this thread? It sounds like we may need to do some debugging with your problem. Mike
Impulse Anywhere unfortunately only provides products published by Stardock. Supreme Commander and it's expansion were published by THQ. You are correct about archives only supporting the OS on which they're created, so I would suggest waiting until you upgrade to create the archive. Mike
There was a mixup here related to the mailers at that time. If you still have this problem in the future, please let us know either by posting here, or emailing or Note: You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time from the following link: https://www.stardock.com/subscriptions.asp Mike
