I am using WindowBlinds 6.1 (build 46 x86) with the "Diamond (XP)" blind, when I use the "Fonts" tab to change the font size. It does not seem to change the font size for the following windows font: - icon font - tooltip font - ... The older skinstudio had an option for changing: "Fonts for classic widget", where did that got moved in the newer skinstudio. Thanks.

I have just installed this build: WB6 5.92[b].90 and it crashes winlogon and reboot my machine. I am running on a on a Window2k3 server (Build 3790.srv03_sp2_gdr.070304-2240 : Service Pack 2). The previous WB6 was working fine for me.
There used to be a section for Miscellaneous->Fonts for classic widgets in SKS5 Where does that get moved in SKS6 ?
I have also got a trojan (Generic5.AJZ) warning using AVG antivirus on C:\windows\system32\wbload.dll. So for now it is quarantined.

For people that did the upgrade from beta to the release, you will need to do a: - Rebuild List Otherwise will you will miss out on the new builtin skins: - AirFrame, Blackcomb, Cyclops, Fresco, Noire, Retro.
I could not find the answer on some other threads, so here is my question: - On the wincustomize website most of the downloadable packages (windowblinds, iconpackage, ...) have stars and referrals. How do they get them ? Do people vote for them ? Just curious, Thanks.
On thing that you can do is: - Ctrl-Alt-Delete bring the taskmgr - kill explorer.exe - from the taskmgr: File->Run: explorer.exe So WB5 finish initializing itself. After that it worked fine for me. It looks like that there could be some timing issue and deadlock depending of what you are running at startup.
I had to add the "Guide+" software (aka: PGETV.EXE) to the list of per application exclusion. But I did not have to add the TV software (aka ATIMMC.EXE)

This problem look like a problem with one of the bitmaps that I reported to Brewman. It should be corrected in his latest update of DogmaX.
I like the new integration with the windows "display properties" applet. But it still hung up on me after my ATI window drivers update without first switching to the window classic style first. [edit on: 11/12/2005 00:03] Well, I spoke too soon, the integration with the "display properties" applet seems to have disappeared after I rebooted my machine.
The thing that worked for me is to change the skin Selections Background color. It is under: Miscellaneous->Colors->Selections->Background Highlighted But then you have other side effect with some menu highlight.
A newbie question. Looking at some of the skins from skinstudio could someone tell me what is the relationship between the font size used in WB and font size as used by Windows ? A WB Tahoma 14 look like a Windows Tahoma 8 for me. Also what is the difference between positive numbered font size (14) and negative numbered font size (-14) ?
I think that there a couple of Segeo UI fonts included in the zip that you are supposed to install.
I think that the activation log are disabled by default. You need to enable it using: sd_central->Tools->Settings->Installation: Log activation errors to file.
Well, after some playing around, I found the following 1) W2k3 server with terminal services enabled: neither WB4 nor WB5 works on that configuration. 2) W2k3 server without terminal services: only WB4 seems to work. WB5 install fine but does not seems to be able load any skin. Does anybody knows if there is a way to turn on debugging for WB5 ? Thanks.
