Actually, neither ObjectDock or ObjectDock Plus support the feature you're looking for. I was pretty disappointed about this myself. However, I just created two seperate docks and use one as a dedicated system tray. While this may not be ideal, it's the only thing I find that works and allows me to dismiss the taskbar.

I understand exactly what you're going through. I experienced this very same problem. To resovle this, you'll want to download a docklet called ToggleBar from WinCustomize.com. When you enable ToggleBar to hide the taskbar, windows will not maximize behind ObjectDock.
