I would pre order it ! Hope ya get the licence from Atari. I love the turn based strategy genre like Gal Civ, Civ series, MoO and the like. I somehow missed out on MoM, the closest I ever came to turn based strategy in a fantasy setting were not very involved games(stuff like Warlords or Lords of the Realm). Magic is the best meets strategy sounds fantastic ! I even went and downloaded the old MoM manual. PS. and off topic Speaking of dead but fantastic game licences is anyone doing a

Yeah, something like that. Especially as they have already have programed planets to have governers over them. Maybe they could have a bit of flavor ! What was the system like in RTW ?
I know its been done in other games but I kinda liked the idea that you could get governers (and maybe ship commanders) that could offer there services to you especially if you have higher influence or luck. moved my response to planetary invasions topic, sorry posted in wrong topic prob. Basically as above poster wouldn't want it to be to detailed on ground combat as strategic and non military elements are a big part of the game. However a few tweaks to the system might be fun !
Hi, having exact same problem. Bought the Deluxe Edition and it had two Altarian Propecy codes, no GC codes. I changed the letters in the middle of one of them from AP1 to GC1 as per advice on this forum, which allowed me to load GC, which I can play by itself, but now... drumroll... I cant download the Galactic Civ patch to make Altarian Prophecy work. When I go to download the patch, which it sounds like Stardock will only let you get from this website, it keeps saying invalid GC 'serial n
