Here we go again ... !! After a lot of mind-bending, I decided to apply the Stumpy Sheild for the clock ..I think it looks a LOT better then the last clock did , although I have left it in the skin folder , so that the DS user has the choice of clockfaces ...( very diplomatic, hehehe !! ) I have also made a Start Panel up ~ see screeny ~ the word 'Stumpy' changes to 'Sidebar' on hover ~ a pretty neat trick to do that too .. took ages to work it out right !! Ok .. presenting the First ( of what will be many ! ) Screenies of the [B]STUMPY SIDEBAR[/B] [B]..[/B] Remember that this is the first incarnation ...and it still need a load of work on it ... ~ also , with it being a 'LIGHTER' Sidebar , also gives me a lot more options to play with too I have put Po's Captions in ,with mirrors on hover .. , the ROUGH wood background,and the TROLL Clock , which I grabbed from an earlier post by Po'..and edited in Paint.Net ..

HI Tim ... I think the 2nd one is a lot better, mate ... and the background does not distract from your logon at all .. One thing I did notice , was your 'Famous Thumpers' book ... what would it look like if it was a bit more horizontal ..but not [U]quite[/U] horizontal ... I hope that makes sense .. ~ apart from that .. It IS a lot better then the first ...

What a great thread this is ... hehehe !! Ok ... this is BLACK DRAGON ... as near as dammit to completion ,I think ... This time ,I have used the frames that Po' emailed me .. thanks bud .. as you can see it looks a LOT better with the real thing here ... It makes the Details Window stand out a lot better too ... For the captions this time ...I have used only 2 of the sidebar captions that Po sent also ..I think they work quite well ... OPEN CAPTIONS ..Gol

This time I have put Po's Sidebar Captions in ...so what we have here is :~ OPEN PANEL : Green on Black [B]OPEN PANEL HOVER [/B] : Gold on Green CLOSED PANEL : Black on Green [B]CLOSED PANEL HOVER [/B]: Green on Black . .. Ok Tim ...perhaps you're right ... Po' ..... I made those frames by A LOT of paint.net-ing : luckily the Emerald Flame frame was on the top, so all I did was black out the other frames in the pic in post 393 ... which probably explains the fuzziness in the weather/ calendar frames in my last screeny as I had a fair bit of magic pink-ing to do ... I await your improvements with a bottle of Ouzo at the ready ... hehe

Hi there Tim .. I have just tried a shrink down just to see what happened .. As the screeny below shows ... There isn't quite enough definition in your frame ..I tried to sharpen it in Paintnet but then it went sort of blurry ... However those are the frames that I can definitely use for my Details Windows ... I hope that hasn't confused you too much .. I hope the screeny will help ... Thanks so much for your patience ..
