When Alibi said "they also had ~10 ranger classed ships" I thought that to mean that those were a different ship than the ones originally mentioned, but if he saw Ranger ships then there was definitely an event that happened.

ManOWar2, Select one part, re-size it and rotate it, then attach it to one side of the ship. Select that same part from the component list, the new part will now have the same size and rotation of the part you just added. Move it over a hardpoint on the other side of the ship and you will see the part snap to it. Sometimes, this is enough to get a symmetric look. If it is rotated in a different way, try right-clicking on the rotation dials. Thi

This is a similar problem to what SuperGeek mentioned, but it is not the quite the same fix. Do you have a saved game that reproduces this problem? I've tried setting it up, but my ships keep avoiding the starbases.

Please check to see if the "Ownership" icon to the upper-right of the mini map is highlighted. If it is not, you will not see your own cultural influence. If you click it to highlight it, you should see only your own influence area until you start to uncover the influence of other civs.

There is a workaround for this. Delete the following file: Galciv2\Gfx\Thumbnails\s0_doomray.png The game will then generate a new icon for the doom ray.

What version are you using? If you haven't updated to version 1.1 yet, please try that. If you have already done that, or the problem continues, please post the contents of your debug.err file. This file can be found in your galciv2 program folder (usually c:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2) Thank you.

The problem has been identified and fixed. Thank you, everyone, for your help in finding this one. The next update will have this fixed.

I'm sorry I misread the original post. After saving the upgraded design and restarting a new game, and then upgrading, the bug was there, so I'm looking into it.

According to the data in the saved game file, it was created with 1.1 Beta 4A. Many of the fixes made for version 1.1 will require you to restart your games for them to take effect. Please start a new game with the final 1.1 version and if you get this crash, please let us know.

BaninLance, Thank you for all of your sent files. I've just downloaded your new save file and that has reproduced the crash. I'm sorry we weren't able to get a fix for it by 1.1, but I'm looking into it right now.

Version 1.1 includes the bonus pack. You will only need to use the "Enable Collectors Edition Content Only" one. If you had collector's edition before upgrading to 1.1 you won't need to do the collector's edition content again. You should still see all the game content in the game.

Did you start a new game with version 1.1? If not please do. I am not able to reproduce this in version 1.1. Do you have any miniaturization techs? Here is what I did: I started a new game. I upgraded the Yor colony ship with "Remove Components" checked. Then I added 6 Ion engines (10 each) = 60 out of 68. No more room for a colony module. Is this what you did? Please let me know how to reproduce this if it still a problem. Thank you.
