Thanks for reporting these. The upgrade bug is squashed, so enjoy it while you can I'm looking into the invasion bug too. Doctor Evil, your variation sounds like it might be a different problem from the others, and I couldn't reproduce it. If you have a saved game, and wouldn't mind sending it to [email protected], that woul

In v1.1 Beta 2 there is an option in the Options screen, on the Interface tab that says "Remove Functional Components When Upgrading a Design" If you uncheck this (it is ON by default), it will not remove the components from the ship when you upgrade it.

If your ships do have weapons, and cannot attack, I would like to see that saved game. Please e-mail it to [email protected] Put ATTN: CodeCritter in the subject . Please attach your debug.err file too since that will tell me what your system specs are. Also, if you have a save from before your fleet was attacked that would also be helpful.

#1. This has been fixed. Next update will allow you to scroll properly. In the meantime, you can use the mouse-wheel to scroll through the list. #5. This has also been fixed, and will be included the next update.

Yes, the bonuses for attack and defense ship assists are accumulative. You can see the effect of these in a couple ways: One way is to select the starbase with the mouse. This will highlight the area of effect for that starbase. Please check your "Tactical Map Zoom Level" slider in the Interface tab of the options screen. Around 25 is the default. You can adjust this option to choose how close or how far you can zoom in before the map changes to tactical/icon mode. You can also press the keys 1 - 5 to change to different camera angles and zoom levels. This may help as well.

Please make sure your video drivers are up to date. You can try adjusting the "Tactical Map Zoom Level" in the Interface tab of the options screen. Around 25 is the default. You may also want to try the "Disable Hardware Transform and Lighting" and "Disable Planet Textures" options in the Video tab.

Allen58, Please verify that your graphics card/video drivers are the most current. If they are current, please check your language settings in control panel. Make sure your language is set to English. If none of this helps, please send your debug.err file (in your galciv2 folder) to [email protected]. A screenshot of what is happening would be helpful as well.

Couple things: 1. Are your video drivers up to date? 2. What are your system specs? 3. Are you running SmartException? (Available from the "Free" section in Stardock Central) This will generate a report that you can send to us at [email protected]. It will help us to figure out what is causing the crash on your computer.

I am having trouble reproducing this effect. If you have a saved game where this is occurring, please e-mail it to [email protected]. Please include a brief description about which planet has the problem. Also, please include the debug.err file from your /galciv2 folder. Thanks.
