Opera just released a version (12.00.1422) that supports both OpenGL and DirectX hardware acceleration. I have my version configured to use DirectX and previous issues regarding font rendering seem to have been solved. However, the titlebar is not being skinned in WB 7.4. It is clear (glass?) and not the background for my skin. It is skinned correctly when hardware acceleration in Opera is turned off. It is also skinned correctly when OpenGL is selected in Opera but the font rendering with Op

I had the same problem with Opera 10.50's title bar getting messed up when running WB7 and found a solution using the 'Opera Launcher' at this web site. http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/opera-launcher It launches Opera and fixes the title bar problem and backs up a bunch of the opera files at the same time (bookmarks, contacts, etc.) Hope this helps. EDIT: OperaLauncher lets you disable the title bar.

I had the save confirmation turned off but have now turned it back on. If I make a change and click Apply Skin in SKS7, the Save Changed window appears. I'll click Yes, the 'busy' cursor is displayed for about 2-seconds and the changes I have made are not displayed (for example, text color of inactive windows stays like it was). If I click Apply Changes in WB7, the WB 'skin change' window displays, the screen goes gray and blurry and the changes are then displayed. Any other thoughts?

Uninstaled SKS7. Rebooted. Reinstalled SKS7. Verifed. SKS7 Apply Skin still will not apply skin changes. If I click Save Skin in SKS7 and then click Apply Changes in WB7, the changes are applied. Weird. Win7 32-bit, doesn't matter if Nortons 2010 is turned on or off.

Nothing happens when I click Apply Skin after making changes to a skin. SKS6 asked if I wanted to save the skin before applying but SKS 7 does not. I have to click Save Skin and the go to WB7 to actually load it. Anyone else having this problem. I think I'm running the latest beta release since 'Update' isn't displayed in the Impulse window. EDIT: I meant to put this under the SKS7 bugs. Sorry.

WB7 will let me select Textures, Fonts, Transparency, etc. for an existing skin without any problems. Using Skin Studio 7, I can open a skin and then create a copy of it using the 'Save As' option. When I reopen WB7 and select the new skin, the Textures, Fonts, Transparency, etc. options are now not available (e.g., grayed out). If I reselect the old skin again (the one I copied), they are available again. Is this a bug or is there some setting somewhere that controls these op

TweakUI is a Microsoft PowerToy. The link for it is http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx It didn't fix things completely though. I did find another program on CNet Download called IconTweaker (a freebie). It let me go back over the icons that were not restored and reset them to the XP icon. The link for it is <a href="http://www.download.com/IconTweaker/3000-2195_4-

MyColors ate my icons too. I fixed the problem and went back to XP icons using Microsoft's TweakUI program. Select 'Repair' in the list on the left, then select 'Repair Icons', click 'Repair Now'. Everything is back the way it was wih the XP icons.
