so break it down for me, this was probably posted above and I didn't get it. If you have already pre-ordered, you don't have access to the beta because it hasnt been relesed yet. And there is no set date to relese the beta yet. but the final version comes out in january?

I dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but with carrier class ships, if you build a squad of fighters, delete it, and build a squad of bombers, the fighters stay there. With the percheron light carriers you can have a total of 2 squads. It also seems to work with the hanger defense. The AI exploits it to the max, making 15 carriers 15 fighters and 15 bombers.
thanks for the help. i left to do something else came back and it was at 10 percent and now its all done. i dont know what happened but it ended up finishing.
I read other forum posts that said to select the new download method by clicking on the giant blue orb, which i did. the download then started, and then has stop and stayed at 0.8% for a half hour. is there anything i can do to make sure its actually downloading, and make it download faster? (its not paused in case you thought i just can't read)
i think that beta four is amazing!! graphic wise i love the new kol, and marza, the vassri are good, but maybe if their weapons/weapon ports were better exagerated would be really cool! i haven't really played sins for a while and that beta 4 is going to make me want to play more

I think you should be able to build a limited number of outposts in differnt systems. they acts like your capital plant, just maybe 95% allegence and the plants surronding it may go down according to the same. plants around your capital one get an economy bonus/or culture bonus.
i'm not trying to be a smartass or anything, but what about making it an option for multiplayer fights if all players agreed to be the same race. or the boarding of another ship doesn't need to be taking over the ship. explosive all go boom !
what about something where you don't see the insides of a ship, that would be WAY too complicated. i'm saying go on level, if you have a cap (capital) ship has a higher level, then a better chance. maybe limit it to sovas or kols, or another race, and only when they get to a certain level. and you have to limit it to cap ships.
no no no! it should be an option for sova carriers, something like mariner carrier, or inflitrator. then you can have 2 little things on the tech tree, one ship boarding, and the other ship boarding defense
i think that ramming would be a waste of time. i do like the idea of boarding though. like a tech tree with a cloak/speed option for the boarding ships, maybe an option for sova carriers?
but the problem of long games in other galaxies is when your alliegence is so low that you lose a lot to that
