This is known as a Vassel State.. great idea with one caviat.. How can they get out of a vassel state?? What would be the point of it without a way to get out?I like the term 'vassal state', it sounds much better. I think whether or not a vassal state should have the ability to be freed is debatable - it would depend on game mechanics and the designers motivation for allowing vassal states. There needs to be incentive for the conquering empire to allow the vassal to exist and not absorb t
The deficit is high. We must bring our tax revenue equal to the spending we approve. And it's going to get higher thanks to the handout. We have to have major spending cuts. Raising taxes on a government with out of control spending is just stupid! Bush and his policies have FAILED and most Americans want a change!LOL. Gene you have no idea what Americans want.
I think the taunting is basically taking a fleet to their base."OH BOYS! Over HERE!"I don't know about a random attack fleet though. Can't really order up "One Pirate Fleet" to go, I guess. Unless you try to intercept the one that is sent to attack the enemy. That would be the only thing I can think of.
That order up a fleet to go might not be a bad idea, you can buy X ships to attack y planet or fleet for z amount of time for set $$
Unfortunately, a publisher like EA would never have given the green light to a project that was projected to only sell 100,000 copies the first month. Times change (and not always in a good way). This is why there aren't as many good games out there, IMHO.
and this is why a small company like Stardock and IronClad can sell a game like this.. gotta love small business... the backbone of the world
Enslave Option - in a large multiplayer game, the situation becomes hopeless for one of your unfortunate opponents as your massive fleet arrives at his homeworld. It's more fun for everyone involved to keep as many human players in the game as possible, but you've worked hard to conquer this player. How about an option that allows you to subjugate his empire? You offer the agreement and he has the option to accept. If he does, his units are still under his control but he is unable to atta
Thank you guys. I really appreciate your positive replies. What I don't appreciate is clan guys spamming this thread with information that I don't care about. I won't become a member of your clan just to read a guide you promise. It's lame if you think I will. Please go away.
I hope this does not count as one... I would like to offer you a place to put up your guide, available to people without registering, that would be your "most current version". This would enable you t

how people conduct themselves is sometimes a reflection of their opinions of the people they are dealing with. Most people do not mind paying for things, they just don’t like to overpay. If someone feels that what they are buying is equal in value to it’s cost they most likely will pay the fee, what ever it is.. They tend to steal when they feel that the cost is more than the value received… This is not meant to be an exhaustive explanation just one of many.. The value we get from Star

That people are enjoying the fun of it or that your not?? you seem to feel that because we are having fun doing things that are not part of our day to day lives..
