Well from a Christian perspective the definition of FAITH is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." We may not "see" God in the physical but we believe the evidence is there. We "see" him in the spiritual. Another way to look at it is to use as an acronym....F-A-I-T-H. Forsaking All I Trust Him.
