whenever Bush brings up Bin Laden I start to chortle...
Whenever someone uses the word 'chortle' (and I'm a as guilty a culprit as anyone), Lewis Carroll sheds a tear of joy in heaven. ;)
Impulse doesn't use the user selected installation path...
It looks like it can in the newest version I've got. It's up in the 'Preferences' tab.
And NO, it won't (and shouldn't) make a lick of difference in how I (or anyone else for that matter) votes in November. How would Bush's capture of Bin Laden (only seven years late, after all) make any difference whatsoever? I fail to see the connection. Certainly wouldn't make me vote for McCain.
That idea/statement begs the question of whether or not the capture or confirmed killing of Bin Laden would make any difference in how you might vote, or if you think it might make any real impact on the general election in the fall.
He's not doing it to further any one else's election chances, Terp, and you know it. He's doing it in an effort to save face, to try and create a 'legacy' as president that's not a total cock-up. Won't work, but I guess you
I've also gotten things from my friends that I later regretted.
Those STIs are a bitch, aren't they? ;)
id say its amzing, but i dont know what it is, i dont even know hwhy im posting this message?
Why don't you click on the 'Preview' link and find out exactly what it is? All I know is that I already preferred Impulse over SDC. When the new functionalities are included (minimizing to dock, program organization, etc.) I'm sure I'll use it even more often. :CONGRAT:
I hope so much to become a part of the family here as everything ive read so far sounds so close to eachothers hearts.
Welcome to the fray, morningstar08. I'm sure you'll fit in nicely around these parts. Hope to see you posting again soon.
I can't walk you through Impulse, I don't have it yet. Hopefully this is enough.
It's very similar. Near the top right-hand corner there's a button to fill in your registrations. Paste in your info. Then it should update your registration and let you know (by glowing, I think, maybe it blinks) on the 'Updates' tab up top. Click on it, highlight the program, click 'Update' in the lower right corner, and enjoy.
Stardock is just cheap.
Guys, guys, guys. They've explained to us a million times why they do things this way. Would you prefer less effort and money put into the game just so you can have a pointless box? Because that's what it takes. You want a box, you get less of a game. Personally, screw the box, screw the CD, etc. Digital download works like a peach.
The Koran has 519 instances of intolerance. The Bible, 564. And?
that is up until activist judges over stepped their bounds and started (unconstitionally)legislating law from the bench.
Legislation from the bench, legislation from the religious pulpit . . . they're equally bad.
It could be worse. You could be stuck in an elevator.
I dunno, Cari, if you were stuck in the elevator you wouldn't have to hear the kid ten feet away screaming and crying away, as well as the old granny right behind you yelling 'What? I CAN'T HEAR YOU' into her phone. The solitude of the broken elevator could be nice. ;)
When you get banned from something, you can complain. When you get banned from something repeatedly, you should probably start to look at your behavior. You are now officially in the latter category.
I'm so pumped for the Impulse/Dock. It looks freakin' cool. :D
It minimizes to a dock and I get my PM2008 on Tuesday? Color me pumped. :CONGRAT:
while McCain's life has been exemplary
I maintain, sleeping around on your disabled wife is NOT exemplary behavior. McCain has been anything but.
I've found it much more effective (and hopefully less annoying) to PM a moderator with spamming ones, such as kryo here. (Usually if it's during the week I just hop on Stardock's IRC channel and say, 'Hey Zoomba, got a present for ya!')
So I realize that the TG.Net tokens are on their way out the door, so I'm spending them willy-nilly (especially since I finished my exams yesterday and wanted to have me some fun). After watching a very favorable review of Painkiller, I decided to pony up and spend some of my tokens on it. A good while later (it's a good sized game and my connection in Europe ain't that great), I got to play the game. But there weren't any in-game cinematics, no cut scenes, nothing. Acco
Yes that could cause all kinds of havoc.
But for the week or so before the entire community was banned and they reverted to a non-Karma system, I would have a ton of fun. ;)
I mean, I loves me some George Stephanopolous (sp?), but I'll still miss Tim Russert. Just pray Chris Matthews isn't the one to take his place permanently.
For those who care: NBC anchorman Tim Russert died this afternoon. He was 58. He was one of the most pugnacious and tenacious news anchors in recent memory. People knew that Russert didn't mess around. And he was one of my favorite news anchors. I used to watch "Meet the Press" every Sunday morning when I lived in the states. An
