and F.E.A.R has the beast AI to date.
What?!? The AI in that game is the biggest bunch of retarded bots on the planet. Seriously. The original Unreal had better AI than that piece of steaming turd.
sin of a solar empire out shines homeworld do to the fact that you can find sins but you cant find homeworld in stores.
Ummmm . . . that's because Sins is new, and Homeworld came out almost ten (ten!) years ago. Looks like you've got two options. Either: Stop playing the games you want to play. Or: Go buy an XBox and play them without the ridiculous copy protection. :P
as a current member of our government
How exactly are you a 'current member of our government' now, Paladin?
Well best you get that blow-up doll, then... apart from not looking silly on a tandem bicycle all on yer lonesome, you don't want all then gorgeous gals thinking you're an eligible bachelor, now do ya!
/me thinks of 'Lars and the Real Girl' with fond horror. Fondness because it was a great movie; horror at the thought of doing the same. ;)
Please put 1.95 on SDC.
1.95 isn't out yet at all.
What? You mean to say SanChonino doesn't have a lady????
Only because she left in an emergency for Mexico. So no, currently single. But hey - at least I don't have weird people telling me they love me after what, three dates, Cedarbird? :P
wall of text crits qrush for 100000!
Weak. :P
Just finished my first game, and my bootie-whuppin' ticket of the Mighty Bills (Bill Richardson and Bill Clinton) just waltzed all over a McCain/Romney ticket. Suckers. Don't mess with the Bills. ;) First impressions on the game: Tougher than I thought it was going to be. I had a lot of fun trying my hand at creating a new candidate, just to give up and play with someone whose politics I already knew I liked (Richardson). It played more or less like I expected, but it stil
After a rocky start (it wouldn't recognize my serial) I'm downloading now. I'll report back about how poorly I've done after I lose horribly. ;)
Got them both through SDC. Hope you get the Impulse version sorted out. :D
Too late. Already am! ;)
The level design in Painkiller is amazing.
Hell yes it is. Shooting up churches, army bases, and orphanages in Purgatory, filled with the minions of Satan. The more I play that game, the more I absolutely love it. It's ridiculously fun.
Good to hear from you, mate. 'Bout time you actually wrote us an article.
I simply don't understand why anyone would want this.
Because most of the target audience for this program does have plenty of interest in skins, customizations, and docks. You have to remember, Stardock's customization community is much larger than their gaming community. (As a member of both, it's painfully obvious that it's the case.) It's only natural that they cater the product to their larger customer base rather than the nit-picky end user who watches his
psychoak, you have good tastes . . . Unreal Tournament is the best mindless 'I want to blow crap up with a flak cannon' game ever. (And yes, I'm a total flak monkey.) System Shock 2, Thief, and Deus Ex are the three best in terms of immersion and storyline. Every other game since has wished it could be so cool as these three, and failed miserably. I still have a soft place in my heart for Half-Life. Gotta love those headcrabs. Painkiller is a gre
Does this mean it will integrate with user skins designed by other people? You know, skins made by that other software your company produces . . .
You can already use your default WindowBlinds skin, for example, by clicking the tick-box in the 'Preferences' menu.
yet I still feel obliged to keep my frakking fingers in line even when some mewling wanker drives me 'round the bend.
One of the beauties of posting on one of Stardock's sister sites, JoeUser , is that pretty much any language (outside of personal threats) is tolerated. You should've seen some of the insults bandied around those parts. Vivid.
Does anyone ever even watch the videos I post as epigraphs to my articles?
Is anyone even reading my Spain stories anymore? I know there are a few (a very few) stalwarts, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth the effort. -- 29 May 2008. 7:54pm. We sat there, the two of us, for the better part of the afternoon. I should have been studying, but what can I say? Sometimes you just have to neglect stuff like that in lieu of more pressing concerns. The sand was warm on my toes, the sun beating down on me,
why not talking to VALVe and work together instead of split Community?
That's just it, though - Impulse's functionality will blow everything STEAM does out of the water. The minimizing to dock alone will make it one of the programs I use most often. Plus, the integration of an already flourishing community (through Stardock's sister sites) is just going to make it that much better. Maybe I'm just hopeful, but I can see the implications of what Impulse [
This article magically posted on JU, WinCustomize, and the Impulse site simultaneously. I almost feel like a spammer. ;)
So, fine JoeUsers and/or WinCustomize users, how does the day find you? It finds me quite well. I'm done with my tests, just relaxing today before embarking on weeks of adventure-filled travels, and I've gotten pretty okay grades so far (hey, no fails like Pervy, so I'm good). But when I'm just relaxing that means I inevitably play around on teh intarwebz a bit. So I'm poking around and stumble onto the Impulse webs
Yep, I downloaded it in Impulse, Yarlen - that must be the issue. And, come to think of it, there wasn't any music either. I guess I'll pop open SDC and do it the old-fashioned way, but just so you know - they don't get included in the Impulse install.
why the dont add a multiplayer-part like this?
Because most gamers are not multiplayers. They are, in fact, single players. And because Brad doesn't want it to be multiplayer. If you want a multiplayer Stardock game, get PM2008. I'll play you. Heck, I'll even lose, probably, and you can get a 'speshul ego-boost'.
You know who's radical? You really wanna know who's radical? Me, babeh. I'm totally radical. ;) [/hijack]
