Are we there yet? Let's go Brandon!
I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. Stardock's Forum rules prohibit political discussion in all sub-sections except 'Politics' itself. To maintain decorum any such are relocated.

The embedding of advertising is the new business model. It simply HAD TO HAPPEN when the OS itself was free. If Microsoft hadn't given it away freely to existing users...and they told you about the 'new model' everyone would simply have said "Fuck that. I'll stay with Windows 7". Of course....I did just that....;)
if you were to build a house, you start with the foundation, which consists of concreate, but, you have to wait for the concreate to be poured into your foundation, so now it's a waiting game, so do you go ahead and still build a house without the concreate (forms), or plug along without it, which wouldn't make a very sturdy house. Now, do you blame the people who built the forms (Stardock), or blame the people who delivers the concreat

Russia might be able to slant reality at home but the 'soldiers on the ground' know what's going on...and clearly their heart really isn't in it. They are being told to kill their relatives....a bit like any Civil War.
if this is the right question then windowblinds 11 will never be released since microsoft releases updates every month and big updates 2 times a year i see a dark future for this planet and the stardock comunity
No, all that's needed is for MS to 'sign off' on their GUI. Virtually nothing in monthly general bug updates has much impact...just as with EVERY other OS version and their updates. Again, the is
What's the problem with that?
Often the topic bears no relevance to the present day. Eg. "Windowblinds 1 doesn't work on XP and needs to be updated"...;) We have a process in place that archives threads where no replies have been made in 12 months...so often the only way they come back again is by a 'topic search' initiated by a Spam Bot...;)
It did work for the first 2 years then something changed
A person who once worked in 'IT' would know that by far the most issues new to a system are the fault of the Windows Update process introducing new problems with compatibility. Other issues are from forgotten user updates/added software. If a program works in an OS for 2 years without fault then it cannot be called "buggy junk". As with al

Last one I bought was after my system got spiked....so was a chance to 'justify' going from a GTX 980 to a RTX 3070 ....that cost $1111. That's only $250 more than the 980 was 5 years ago...though back then the 980 was pretty much top of the heap...;)

I'm on a couple of sites specific to the bikes I ride [and restore]. During lockdown there wasn't a lot you could do....so in that time I did 8 bare-metal restorations ...and would comment frequently on the related sites. We're out of all that now so the relative 'need' has passed. I'll have other things to do anyway...the F1 GP is on in April ...so Motor Racing is back and I'll be trackside yet again. Here's one of the bikes I did.....not too scruffy for 57 year

It seems Facebook is 'monitored' by brainless robots.... There's a song on the Album "Meddle" By Pink Floyd called "One of these Days". It's a classic....and easy to learn the words....there IS only one line. Just don't post it on Facebook. It's from 1971...so before anyone who works for that moron was born. "One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" Thankfully these forums are policed by grown-ups....;) M

Not fazed at all. My best mate's father was Ukranian...and spent about 4 years in a Nazi labor camp....so there's nothing new under the sun when it comes to that part of the world...;)
