Problem solved. From this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/?ForumID=166&AID=95304 #4 Morpheous416 Thursday, December 15, 2005 3:10 AM Reply Quote A quick and easy fix to keep FF from jumping around, is to add a button to your Bookmarks Toolbar folder. All ya need is one. Works like a charm every time</TD
Using latest version of Firefox 1.5. Using WindowBlinds5_enhanced.exe Loaded web pages jump up and down a 16th of an inch or so, verticaly. Also, is there a search function in this forum? Might be right in front of my eyes but I'm missing it somehow. Thanks.
Thank you both.
The effect of the display setting's at 16bit causes the inability "to use per pixel borders" not the database errors. According to many other threads on the subject, the database problem is not related and has been in fact fixed in the latest beta.
I am aware of that as I mentioned in my first post. Since the rumor is that the newest beta fixes the issue many of are experiencing, and the current trial is giving a bad impression to potential customers, it seems logical that the "beta" would become an official release ASAP. Would you become a subscriber if the trial version you were presented didn't function?
Well, I get the impression this is going to go unanswered. I tried WB a few years back but is was heavy handed with the audio application this computer was built for. Last week I decided to give WB5 a try and ran into this ODBC issue. The skin that loads by default (Retro), the only skin available to me with this trial software, seems to function well. But a full evaluation is impossible and I have a hard time with the logic of paying to be a Beta tester, even if it is only 20 dollars
