With all these posts about this and that retailer missing the game or this and that thing wrong, I'll be happy in 2 weeks when we get back to some normality....I'm sure Stardock will be happy people can look at vacations to that place...whats it called...ya know the one with the white coats with sleeves that tie behind their backs.

by the sounds of it the large discount chains do have it. Don't just phone and ask by the way go down and look. It looks like the specialty stores dropped the ball and this may be because of something Brad alluded to in one of his other posts its getting harder and harder to get shelf space for PC Games. It's unfortunate that we now live in the ADD world where every kid has to be playing a console game because PC games are too passe or too hard.

a label tagged besides ships who you are at war with when your not at icon level zoom. I like the pretty pictures you guys did at the lower zoom levels but find i have to zoom out to find enemy ships. Espcially the small buggers.

first make sure they have alliances...and second the alliance option doesnt pop up unless your relations are close or better from what i've seen.

whats your other hardware steevo? i haven't had any of the problems yoru describing and i have the samt video card (assuming you meant 6800 and not 680) otherwise i never heard of an nVidia 680. ANother thing you should probably save yourself some grief and post under the bugs forum rather than hijacking someone elses thread.

you can't edit core designs because they slightly bend the rules of ship creation i believe. From what ie remember most core ships usually cost more but have extra capacity than most people can start off with when they first get them. However you can't edit the design. You can later on upgrade them however once you have passed the requisite technologies that enable that class to exist (such as medium hull for your flagship) Thats been my exp

aye Brad has stated on more than one occasion that the AI does NOT cheat except in extreme cases i believe and even then i think it wasn't cheating jsut better starting resources. Also dont discount the fact they may have put a Military starbase up in the Fog of War to extend their range. Or they researched life support techs to extend their range.

its an exploit to build a ship with lots of defenses and no weapons and try to make the AI attack that ship above all others. You'd be better off making a capital ship and giving it good defenses

Samot thats wierd it worked for me last night i had fleets of small ships i upgraded them and it asked me if i wanted to upgrade them across all my fleets i said yes...course the own side was all my fleets were paralyzed. However i tried the same thing with a Cargo Hull class ship and it didnt work...
