I think the better approch to justify a price like that would be if the device itself would be upgradable for the future... Have you seen the concept of Phonebloks ? I think this would be perfect for devices like Ipad or Surface The explanation video can be found here if someone is interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDAw7vW7H0c
You're welcome!
doortech1 you can include a png, for folks on windows8 but people on windows7 will of course use the lot lighter jpeg. So if you upload a wallpaper these days include the standart sizes up to 1080p and if you like add a single PNG and name it windows8 or *name*_win8.png

Windows8 does and this is a fact believe it or not will use a low res version of your wallpaper as background http://superuser.com/questions/507097/stop-windows-8-from-converting-wallpapers-to-low-quality-jpgs I noticed this right on the release of windows8 when i applied the CHIP wall of mine to my windows8 desk You may not see it, on every wall since s
Yes you need normal resolutions including the 4:9 , 16:9 I did that in the begining but im not going to do so anymore i only know view folks that still run a 4:9 screen Also you may need to make a zip if you want to upload a PNG, in windows8 jpeg and BMP get downsampled - i noticed that when i applied some of my photos as wallpaper - the solution is to use a PNG or a third party wallpaper prog. to prevent windows8 from doing so. If you use JPEG or BMP the pict

Steam: When you install steam you get to choose where you want to install it: DO NOT install STEAM on your SSD install it to a HDD or partition since steam will download the games into that steam directory ! example: download and install steam under D:\Programme\Steam If steam is installed and you go and download a game it will be downloaded to D:\Programme\Steam \steamapps + installed in the same directory- There is also a way to change the MY documents MY p

This video is quite old but back then i thought it was amazing They run 24 SSD in Raid... and get close to 2000mb/s read I just found the video again and thought how freaking fast that is... i wonder what is currently possible...
Well I tried 8 on the machine. It runs really fast on the notebook. Problem was the product key is being used on another machine so we had to put 7 back on the notebook. This time I used a barebones copy of 7, activated the copy with the COA on the notebook so it's all legit and legal, and installed drivers. Guess what? It's running quicker than it was. I'm happy so far. Wish we could have keep 8 on the machine. None of us can af
Would putting some games on the SSD make their performance better, or is that purely a question of CPU and graphics card? Would loading times be faster if on the SSD (for example the really long load times LH has now on my old laptop!)?
Loading times will be faster if the game is installed on the SSD... even if the SSD is first Generation A HDD Sata has a average read speed of 120-210MB/s on 7200rpm modern SSD have a read

It doesnt matter where you choose to install your programs Personally I prefer to install my main programs on the SSD because they can get accessed mzch more quickly and will cause a faster start load of windows desktop. ( Programs like Skype, Stardock Software, SSD progs, Wacom Pad etc.) If you have a 1000gig HDD you should divide it into 2 or 3 partitions On them you can install progs like Photoshop Games and store personal Data. Also you get more benefits like
[e digicons][/e] nice uvah + the movie was also great ^^
The CPU should be good enough for windows8 since it runs on tablets smoothly *My guess would be the HDD.. i believe its not the integraded GPU that is holding back since normaly windows7 uses round about 100-130mb video memory and that is with aero enabled. If you have nothing to loose i would say go and install plate eight its worth a try. Windows8 Manages resources better and more efficient and you might be able to get a bit boost out o
