I wont stress with it no more for today i will sleep over it and try again tomorrow since i reached the point where iam unable to change the mouseover color for the startmenu be it places or proglist and honestly i have no freaking clue why, maybee thats why i dont get the mouseover color working on the jumplist ??? 2of3 exuse me for asking again but as far as i understood now the color i used from the color defined for the starmenu right side will be used by the jumplist( jumplist )... but it will only use a single color - ( normal ) and the mouseover will not be used ? [e digicons]o_O[/e] or can it ?

Thanks everyone, i changed the right hand side item mouseover changed the normal color to the desired blue and the mouseover to black... The text of the startmenu places list is now showing the nice blue color but on mouseover its also showing the blue color and not the selected black same with the jump list sadly... i made this image before i tested the right hand side that 2of3 suggested but this is also a problem <img src="http://i54.tinypic.com/2wdbpti.png" alt="" width="900" h

i came across another problem i just changed the jumplist backgrounds again to match the menubar and i wanted to change the normal state color from black to a blue color since i only found DWM options in the text section of the jumplist, so i thought i have to change the "starmenu- left hand side-item mouseover" text color to get the desired effect on the jumplist ( since the background of that button is also used there ) but it wont change its just stays black and even if both states mouseov

2of3 thanks for your help, i found out that it is not the background or the text color that is causing this problem its the program itself since it has the very left part skinned it will behave strangely. The background needs to be 1 color without any sort of gradient only then it will work but then the "menu item" button doesnt display correctly". i want this to work and i spent all night to figure out the problem but it just did not work. I want to skin the left side of the windows explorer (treeview) but i cant find it in skinstudio would be nice if you cold tell me where it can be found. I looked for it but did not find it. + i do have some trouble with my popup prview on the taskbar i dont know if the gradient is causing it or something else but i know that this happens in all of my skins and im kinda frustrated about it. The apps like impulse and avira for example shiow just fine its just that single one.

that is what i ment neone but for me it will show up as a solid if windowblinds doesnt have transparency activated even if its transparent. Iam also currently at the same section :P but all i want to do is change the font color for the background ( from black to white ) and i cant find it.

haha yeah but i always make stuff in advance knowing that there will be problems but they look so damn good in photoshop -until that is if you puzzle the pieces together in skinstudio [e digicons]:rofl:[/e] if there would be a live stream of me working with SKS you would probably see me scratching my head or biting the table all the time.

Today i found some time to start the new windowblind its streching fine and even the taskbar is sizeable without getting out of shape and the gradient is also smooth be it on top or bottom [e digicons]\o/[/e] i just picked my old startbutton meanwhile but im working on that next and will post more if its more complete just wanted to give you a short look how it looks like when in use

Hi there have you tried using the option for vista win7 positioning yet ? under extra settings? Is the image count correct ? 5 is default I never tested a button above 50 in height but i think if the "button" is to big it will be pushed down and you will only see it if you double your taskbar.
