Actually the plan is to start doing pre-orders a bit early in the order in which we received them. It reweards the people who pre-order and is easier on the bandwidth. FAN-****IN'-TASTIC. You sir have just made me bouyant.

Man, my enthusiasm for this release is high. I simply cannot wait. I'll admit a bit of disappointment that its not available for download right now. I preordered under the assumption that I'd get it at the zero-hour (at the time, there was no talk of gold edition boxed copies as far as I can recall) and now that the thought has been planted that they're holding back until the box hits the shelves.. well, its just a thought at this point. So, I love 4X games and I'm the proud owner of GalCiv2 (congrats on the recent launch Stardock-guys, btw). The big problem here is that I really don't have the time between work and homelife to fiddle about "getting to know" GalCiv2 the way I used to when I was younger. What this means is that everytime I get down to play it, I'm overwhelmed. I've watched the tutorial videos and therefore understant the interface and the tools at my disposal, but I've
