For Zubaz in reply 26 and Spartan in reply 30. Gimme a break guys, I ain't no graphix designer (and I obviously ain't no english teacher neither :) ) That was just a quick (and ugly) pic to get my point across. The REAL graphic designers that hang out here could design frames that would have all yer fuction buttons and so forth. Even something that would allow just the title bar to be customized "outside the box (so to speak)"would be a nice change of pace.

At WinCustomize, we allow use of marks, logos etc up to the point where the owner comes and complains over their use. At that point, we comply with the wishes of the image owner and remove work, and block future uploads using their imagery. For example, we're very careful over Apple and Apple-esque work because they have been very protective of their IP in the past. Microsoft on the other hand is very permissive over the reuse of their logos and images. The

Is there a list of programs that work with Vista? I can tell in Stardock Central which programs have been retooled or updated to be Vista compatible, but what (if any) of the older programs will work with Vista as is? Would like to use some of the older stuff, but I don't want to muck up something by testing them out for myself.

There is a possible conflict between Webroot's Spysweeper (www.webroot.com) and ObjectDock Plus. When you show the system tray in one of the docks, it shows an icon for both spysweeperUI.exe AND spysweeper.exe (which evidently is supposed to be hidden). SpysweeperUI.exe shows in the OS's system tray (spysweeper.exe is running in pro

Uh...not to sound stupid (even though that's debatable), but we are talking about logons made with logonstudio, not windowblinds skins and such....right?? Because I see nowhere in logonstudio's editor to do what you're saying. And skinstudio has no way of opening a logon skin that I can see. Thanks for helping.

Has anyone ever come across a tutorial that explains what the different lines in the UIFile.txt change? I've figured out most of the changes you can do in the themes.ini file (and even some in the UIFile) but most of the UIfile is greek to me. One I'd like to figure out is how to change the text color of the "Click your username to begin" line. That off-white really sucks when the background is very light.
