A lot of what they give away is crap and seems to be overloaded with converters, But every now and then they have a real gem. Like todays giveaway which is paragon partition manager. i think it is totally fair to want to look at the work before it is uploaded. this enables the original artist to ensure that the integrity of the work is upheld and also gives them a chance to offer any suggestions to make the thing better. I dont think it was arrogant at all Z71 and you have the absolute right to expect the same high quality and attention to detail of anything based on your work as you give to yours. :)

if you use bootskin buddy there is an option to run the screensaver in fullscreen mode to check it out, whille it's in fullscreen just press print screen then paste that into paint or any other editing program :)
just because they look similar does not in ANY way mean that stardock "ripped" any graphic from your docks. You need to be very careful about making accusations like this without concrete evidence especially if you haven't contacted stardock about your concerns. Your comments could be taken as slander and/or libel. one work around is to place a shortcut to objectdock in your startup folder...Not sure if vista has one of these but XP does so i am taking liberties in assuming. Create a shortcut to objectdock.exe then place that shortcut into your startup folder, reboot and it should now run when windows starts :)
i just typed adelaide australia into my weather widget (i am using adni18_5_days_Weather widget) and it worked pefectly. which weather widget are you using?. all i can suggest is that you may want to try a different widget :)

mycolors can be used without having to install windowblinds, iconpackager etc etc as it comes with the files needed. Plus there are other mycolors themes that can be purchased. Object desktop is a suite of programs that include windowblinds, iconpackager and others. this choice will give you more freedom over customizing your computer as you can use the individual programs to just change what you want and as there are thousands of free skins, icon packs in the wincustom

this is one great icon pack, Just one thing i noticed is that the icons in the all programs menu don't change when the pack is applied, they remain windows default. But it's still well worth the money and for a good cause too. :)
i occasionally run into this problem, I live in bendigo australia and every so often my weather widget will report that the location is invalid so this is what i do, i click the place name to change the location and enter a random 5 digit number. usually i use 31212 which is manton (usa but dunno the state), then i change the location back to bendigo australia. sometimes it takes a few trys but eventually it works. So give it a go and it might work for you. :)
in my experience, most of the problems people have with stardock products is their own fault, ie. not installing properly, not following the instructions properly and just generally nopt knowing anything about computers and blaming the problems on everyone and everything else but their own ineptitude. copy and paste your windowblinds system information into this thread. open the windowblinds configuration windows and then click the system info tab, copy and paste that information here. if you have been using the trial version it only lasts for 30 days and then you will revert back to the default windows theme.The only way you can continue using the program is to purchase the full version www.windowblinds.net . <
my first action would be to reinstall the software thats causing the problem, it's worth a try. Impulse is the next generation of stardock central. Use it to download, install and activate all the software you have purchased from stardock. Also try dropping an email to [email protected] including the error messages you are getting and i am sure they will be able to help you out.
