In my first couple of games the (good) Altarians kept finishing construction of a tradegood just a couple of turns before me..... Damn! Just wondering what other players do with/about tradegoods. Do you sell tradegoods to all AI or only allies? Do you know how much priority the AI gives to building tradegoods themselves? Is there a difference between good and evil races? Are you patiently building tradegoods

Like DrAtomic1, I also live in the Netherlands, ordered the boxed version and downloaded the game the instant after payment. I was playing the game for a week when the box (including hardcopy manual and tech tree poster!) got delivered. Because of the euro-dollar conversian rate, I even got it cheaper than if I had waited for retailers in the Netherlands to offer it in stores (probably it would do between €44,95 and €49,95).</fo
And do not forget the one-season-only-series 'Space Above and Beyond' with the 'USS Saratoga' as a space fleet carrier
With the risk of sounding stupid... Doesn't Soil Enhancement, Habitat Improvement, Terraform give you the ability to 'upgrade' the yellow, orange an red 'marked' tiles to green-marked tiles of a planet's surface? It is not a 'real' cheat, but just something I noticed during gameplay. In Galciv2 you can design your own ships. In designing ships that match your opponent, you can take a galnce at their current ships to know what your up against now. But what about their ships in the (near) fututre? Or the ships they can upgrade to, when war is declared? If I want tot start a war and have to start building my starships based on my enemies current ships, they can be (and have been) outma
I concur with your nova vs super nova story regarding the light or no light. The point I was making was about the LOCATION of your planets. When you blow up a star (which consists of gas) , the 'mass' will spread out due to acceleration forces caused by the explosion. So the mass will no longer be concentrated enough to s
Hi guys, Have you ever heard about 'Orbital Mechanics'? Planets revolve around a star at a certain distance and with a certain velocity round a star thus creating a 'centripal force'. Stars attract all mass around them (Newton's law of universal gravitation). When these attraction and centripal forces are in equilibrium
