igoogle theme help in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I'm working on an igoogle theme, and I think I broke it. I'm trying to make it dynamic and that's when it happened. Daiwa, your help is VERY much appreciated. It seems that my computer and windowblinds weren't getting along, so I'm working on getting everything off of it and reformatting my computer, since I've needed to for a while anyway. Hopefully that will be soon, so that I can get back to refining my skin.

ok, i've now went through and done most of my mouseover/hover/click effects for my images, but one i'm still stuck on is the mouseover effect for the start menu. I have my text looking right, but the part i'm getting stuck on is the blue bar mouseover. I don't know how i get to this effect in skinstudio

woohoo, I got a custom start menu working. woohoo still some small questions though, like, how do i change the mouseover effect? right now it's the windows blue, i don't know what my options are, but maybe if i could define an image for the mouseover to display, that'd be cool. or invert the colors...i dunno. any suggestions?

to: po smedley I'd really like to read through your tutorial, but none of your pictures are showing up for me to: night train I get how I would compile the image, I just don't know how to make skin studio read the file like that. right now it tiles my bottom bar, my programs list, my top bar and my places list.

perrrrrrrfect. thanks night train. I have another question, so i'll just keep it in this thread. How do I make my startmenu have a custom background, like the DogmaX Link one has a pretty background image and all that, i can't even get my start menu to not stretch in the center.

under the options on the right side for your picture (when you're going the photoshop route) in skinstudio make sure you click transparency and translucent.

TaskBandToolbarBtn question in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I'm working on my first windows blind skin, and I've made the Taskbar buttons brown, and most of the rest of my skin is brown and green. I'm trying to figure out how to make the TaskBandToolbarBtn blink a different color, like when you get an instant message in AIM or MSN. how it will blink to let you know. I've opened the file and made each button state a different color, but it kept blinking brown. So what setting would it be to pick the color
