An undo button would be also nice, how often did I send a colony ship just too far only to see the AI colonize it the next turn. (although it did save me from having a planet conquered by the Dread Lords).

The campaign has it's moments, certain levels though were ridicilously easy. In the last level I just researched planetery invasion straight away and won before they'd even finished their planetary improvements. In another level I was able to send a colony ship straight to the planet I needed, I finished that level in under three minutes . Other levels were far more fun though. It also feels a
I got very lucky in that mission, I quickly colonized all the planets and built up my economy. Then the dreadlords conquered one of my planets, I managed to conquer it back and then I got a nice piece of technology : Black Hole Launchers. That made the rest of the mission very easy as I was now on even terms with the dreadlords. I just built some fast ships, equipped them with two black hole launch
If you lose an invasion, the planet won't be damaged and neither will the buildings be destroyed. Probably just to stop the abusive tactic mentioned before. PS: Has anyone ever been able to use informationwarfare against the dreadlords, I've seen planets with about 90% approval so it might work. But when I invaded it just showed 0 to 0 citizens will help you.
One time I had the United Planets vote for the same thing, I was the lucky winner that time too. But then when I closed the UP screen, I couldn't find my bright new shiny planet anywhere
I mostly like minor races, in my gigantic game they are the first ones at the moment to research new techs. The AI is set to beginner or something, but I don't understand why the little people outclass the big races (except me of course). Especially the Snathi and Dark Yor are cool.
Starbases give bonuses even in weapon categories the ship isn't equipped with, so your 8-0-0 would in reality be a 8-2-2 ship, which sounds much better.
By the way, in the "Your first screen" description it actually says "yoru first turn" . Not important of course, but easy to fix.
The Beta-version manual was posted somewhere on the foum, though I can't remember where exactly.
Another Dutchie here, long live the dutch empire Now if only I knew in which stores I could buy the game, because I can't seem to find it anywhere in their preorder sections. Back on topic: I would really hate a Dutch translation, the English version always sounds far better, everything sounds just silly in Dutch. Most fellow countrymen I know also prefer games in the original language, but t
Playing Civ 4, reading forums, school, thinking of names for my ships
I use the names of gods of various religions (Roman, Greek, Norse etc) too. Other than that i use the names of ancient heros. For transports I'm going to use the names of Roman emperors, and for science vessels great scientist (Pythargoras, Einstein). Scouts will be named after explorers. I'll also name ships after SF-series, it's funny to see the Battlestar Gallactica and the USS Enterprise fight against a drengin invasion force.
