When I insert the CD (and the auto-run kicks in) the following problem pop-up appears (this is manually translated, as I'm running Dutch for my OS): "Problem with shortcut" "The station or networkconnection where the shortcut Registration Brother In Arms.LNK refers to, is not available. Check if the disk is placed or if the networkconnection is available and try again" (Little note: that Brother In Arms game got uninstalled some time ago) This happend

It's 25feb and still no sight of the game for me yet (and because it's sunday tomorow, I will automatically have to wait for another two days...). The reason I ordered from Paradox is because of cutting the heavy custom-fees I would have had to pay if I pre-ordered the game from Stardock itself or some N-American distributor (I live in Europe...). But right now I'm quite dissatisfied with my choice. I should have chosen the download-option from Stardock. That way I would have got the game some d

My comment too: are you blind or downright ignorant? They're busting their asses working on the bugs. The game' s only released a couple a days and the first patch is allready available. They probably have the most open policy towards customers seen in years. Maybe you should document your "valuable" opinion first before writing such an obliterative post that misses the ball by a lightyear.

I'll get right to it. I want to congratulate Stardock on their magnificent customer-friendly attitude. In the big heap that the software-industry has become, it seems you didn't forget that customers are what keeps companies going. In the past I sometimes really got frustrated about other companies' behaviour towards game-development and fan-community handling in the proces (pre- and post-release, as I'm sure you will continue, as allready promised, this positive attitude in the months after the

There is still 1 question bugging me. Whats about Paradox and the extra content (tech tree, extra content: like ship components etc) will the european customers get these too? Physical extras if pre-ordered from Paradox Interactive: tech-tree fold-out, a poster and a chance of winning a miniature GalCiv II ship. Confirmation still ha

Im pretty sure that the extra stuff is only available to people who ordered Online. Im not sure if everyone is aware of that our not... kinda sucks cause I had to preorder at my local store All users who pre-order it will get extra content: Additional ship components, the Galactic Civilizations Desktop and more. Players who purchase the retail pre-o

I was wondering how the promised extra content for pre-oderers is going to be made available. Will that be via download? I'm particulary thinking about those additional ship components etc. I assume physical extras (i.e. the fold-out tech-tree) will be included in the box? Furthermore I'm not sure the extra-promised goodies here on the site (so pre-or

I'm Belgain and thinking about pre-ordering it via the download-option (got cable-connection). But I'm wondering when the download will be made available and how big it will be (because I have to watch not to exceed my download-limit). But I really want those extra-goodies!! PS: if someone knows a good way to get me a retail-version with the extras (so pre-ordered I guess), that cou
