You can also do it from the cmd prompt but typing the same thing. http://search.microsoft.com/en-us/DownloadResults.aspx?q=directx DirectX 11 is supported in Windows 8 and Windows 7. In Windows Vista, DirectX 11 is only supported after installation of a "platform update" DirectX 10 is supported in Windows 8, Windo
Has the plan changed with LH?
Resources are probably being allocated to GC3. We just have to face the reality that LH is a niche game, and GC3 has a much larger audience, especially now that it includes multi-player. I'm not saying that they will abandon LH, just that it is no longer the center of their attention.

Ram...well I'll go out on a limb and say try to get 4gb at minimum but strongly suggest 8gb. No rush you ahve time to slowly build up your system
With some developers, it seems like they unecessarily beef-up system requirements with every new release. I know SD doesn't do this, but the reason I didn't get into the Eleme
From the FAQ Q: What are the requirements to run Galactic Civilizations III?A:It will require a 64-bit version of Windows 7 or 8 along with a DirectX 10 or 11 compatible video card. There will be no 32-bit version. Most PC gamers in 2013 have this kind of hardware, and it allows us to create the best game possible for the majority of our customers.
Quoting StevenAus, reply 4As far as I know, I was looking at the physical attack component. When you open the Unit Details screen for the Shrunk unit, and you mouse over the Attack stat... does it show the Shrink spell? It should say Attack (-50%) and then -2 or -5 or whatever.....? What's it say there?
Thanks for the tip! I'll check the next time I cast it.

I've included two screen shots. Occasionally I see what appears to be something like a dark cloud over areas that are normally bright. It occurs in both strategic and tactical mode. In tactical mode, it makes the units look like shadows, with almost no detail visible. It will go away if I exit to the main menu and then click continue, but a few turns later it will come back. This has only occurred with 1.4. I haven't changed the lighting settings, and I haven't changed/upda

It seperated the "not college material" kids from the other kids and strongly suggested that they take trade courses. I was put into a class that taught retail clerk skills. I ended up attending college anyway... Administrators really don't know sh*t about someones potential.

What skills do you believe should be taught at home, and which ones should be taught at school?

I just visited a forum where a woman was complaining that it was difficult for her to make ends meet. Then in the very next sentence, she started gushing on about her new expensive smart phone… I found her cognitive disconnect to be disturbing. I just couldn’t believe that she was serious. [faceplam] I was going to state the obvious…”Maybe if you didn’t buy a smart phone, and sign up for an expensive contract, you might find it easier to make en
What are you talking about? Until the 1930s, the country worked as originally intended via enumerated powers. Tax dollars weren't given to someone else simply because they had a pulse. Tax dollars were spent on things explicitly enumerated by the constitution. It's not that complicated to make the distinction between whether money is going for a service or whether money is just being redistributed.
That's a pretty easy answer: Money is exchanged for goods and services. That's what my taxes should be doing for me and my family. If my taxes are being given to someone else that is not providing me with a good or service then I object to that.
That sounds reasonable in theory, but I don't how that could be applied in practice on a national scale, and it would be an administrative ni
