As far as I know though, you cannot change just the taskbar itself, you would have to use SkinStudio to change the actual image itself.
Thanks to both of you for your replies! I guess that answers my question...the task bar can't be changed by itself. That's a relief. I thought I was going crazy. One last question. is skin studios included in the full version, or will I ha

I'm trying out the 30 day trial version. According to the ad for WB, you should be able to customize ever aspect of the desktop. For example it says if you select a theme but don't like the color, you can change it, but as far as I can tell, the theme colors are fixed. Also, I found the option to change the transparency and texture of the task bar, but not the color. Does the trial version have features disabled? Is there a help file avail

Thanks Guys! One more question. Is there a specific command in the xml code that allows the item to be picked up in a goody hut, or are all items available as goody hut drops by default?

Is there an easy way to test a modded magic item without having to go through an entire game hoping that you'll pick it up in a goody hut? For that matter is there a way to test that it can be picked up in a goody hut? Thanks!

For those of you who said you're don't think the Loot pack DLC is worth it, but bought it to support SD... How low would you go, before you would make the decision not to purchase a loot DLC? For example, if it contain 12 items, would you still be willing to purchase it? Or if it contained 9 joke items? I'm probably going to sound like a jerk, but here goes...As a consumer you vote with your dollars. If you purchase a DLC you consider to be substandard, you are eff

On my last two games, I set the map to large and custom set the number of factions to 5. I'm at mid game and I've already encountered 6 factions. In my last game I encountered all of them including two mod custom ones and two of my own custom factions. It seems that if you alter the default number of factions. you end up with all of them.

Hi Derek, thanks for your reply. What I meant by an advantage is something that provides a benefit to the player that the vanilla game doesn't contain. For example in Tropico 4, they sold a "junta" DLC that came with a building that allowed you to produce more soldiers than the military structures available in the base game. For the loot DLC, maybe a few more OP items would be a good equivalent. As for the cursed items, IMO, if people don't use them, then they don'

I have another thought about the loot pack (and DLCs in general) In addition to more content... First and foremost, a DLC that people pay for shouldn't never contain detrimental items (e.g. cursed items) Second, a DLC should "reward" people who chose to buy it with a significant in-game advantage over those who didn't buy it. IMO, this DLC didn't achieve that. My additonal 2 cents... Now I'm up to 4 cents. [e digicons][/e] </p

I support the idea of having a local scoreboard that keeps track of various sovereign and empire/kingdom stats for each game completed (or at least the top 10). We shouldn't have to keep track of it on a spreadsheet. btw..I requested this feature back when FE was first released.

SD, I'd just like to say that IMO, if the loot pack doesn't sell as well as the previous DLC, it's not because people didn't want a loot pack, it's because of the contents of the loot pack. From my perspective bows are underpowered (for sovereigns and heros) compared to swords and other weapons - because of the significant initiative reduction and the low damage, and personally I never used cursed items, of which there are 5 in the pack. And I was really ho
This DLC doesn't seem as "big" as the previous one, so I'm wondering if they are slowly trying to exit out of LH. Maybe it's not generating the sales they had hoped. The two joke items don't bother me that much, but I can see how others may be turned off. It will be interesting to see how others

I finished a game where, after reaching level 5, I b-lined the summoner path. I used Trojamic's suggestions utilizing the summoned creatures special abilities, but they didn't seem all that usufull. Sure the turn I summon them, I can use the special effect, but it usually doen't help to "turn the tide" of the battle, and the targets can often resist. A big disadvantage seems to be their initiative. Even if I cast haste on them, by the time they get a chance to take t
