Make sure you get the additional components too (tutorials, multimedia, etc). I don't know if they fixed it but it used to not automatically download. Do this by expanding the Galactic Civilizations II entry (the little plus to the left).

Economic Sliders in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, I just wanted to jot this down while I am thinking of it. In GC I, the sliders had a relationship with one another both visually and percentage wise. For instance, you lower Military, Social and Research would increase in the percentage displayed and also in the position of the slider. (Assuming no slider/percentage locks). GC II does not behave in this manner. Granted, the percentages change in relationship with one-another, but

Free Move Camera? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hello all, The first day I played this, I remember middle click moving the view to below the galaxy plane. Now I seem to be stuck at about a 45 degree angle from the plane, and cannot go in for a lower (more horizontal) view. What am I doing wrong? I have no problems going into overhead view, or any angle from overhead to that 45 degree stop point. It is really frustrating. I would like to zoom in on planets from below!

Just curious as to why Stardock is waiting to release the exe and supporting dll's. Since The game release date is today, why not release the files ASAP? Some kind of retail channel agreement?
