Upgrading your systems RAM and video card is a cheap and easy way to give your system a big boost. Adding another 512 MB of RAM and a reasonably priced GFX card would make a huge difference for very little money. It amazes me that people are still trying to play games on systems like this (from the whining on this forum systems *much* worse then this even) "448 MB RAM... all close to recommended so feel pretty good about that.<br/

Personally ads don't work for me. I almost never buy a game based on an ad. I buy games either from word of mouth or based on published reviews. I would say because of that if you were going to have an ad one of the most important things to include in the ad would be your review scores/awards. A bunch of great review scores or quotes would make me more inclined to read those reviews and consider buying the game.

I also have noticed a problem with the games AI set to intelligent... There have been games where I was going to lose and I end up winning. Why? I wanted to add that as disappointing as it is not getting my preorder until almost a week following its release date... I greatly appreciate how much you guys at stardock care about us (the customers). Everything that I have read on your site from the development journals to the forum posts shows how much you guys care about your work and your customers. That is one of the reasons I preordered this game which I usually avoid doing. I understand that things often happen outside of our control an

It would of been nice if your distributor had shipped enough units to cover the preorders at places like ebgames.com... I will wait though, I have Civ 4 and Empire at War to satisfy me until the game arrives!!!

Well I preordered Galactic Civ 2 about a month ago from ebgames.com and it hasn't shipped yet, the game is on back order so I have a couple questions. If I cancel my preorder with ebgames and buy it direct from here with the option to have the stuff shipped to me in addition to the download, will I get the same Collecters addition goodies (such as the tech tree map) as I would of gotten from ebgames.com? Why is the game on back order!!! Why!!!!!! <img src="smiles/Smile.gif"
