Yes Ie9 works and goes online I fixed the original post The last successful "check for updates" was on the 7th last update was 12/31/2011 there were 2 updates that were both for .net 1 for .net 3.5.1 and .net 4

I have had this problem with several blinds before and applying the windows standard theme and then reapplying the skin and clicking the apply button twice has fixed it for me. Since I have had this problem before if you would like me to try it out I would be happy to try and see if worked for me. Send me a PM if you do.
