6 years old and you meet the other minium specs? You must have bought a monster at the time.

6 years old? I don't think PCI express was out then. PCI IS NOT PCI Express. Any new video card listed as PCI is a PCI Express card. Take a look at some motherboard pics at newegg. The motherboard info will tell you what type of busses it has. Compare the slot pics with what you have. You may have to buy a new system because if your system only has PCI, I don't think you can even buy a Video card for that bus anymore. My 7 yr old computer has AGP 1X which is too obsolete for upgr
As I said in my post in your other topic, make sure you have a PCI Express x16 slot on your motherboard as opposed to an AGP slot.
That card will work. Make sure you have PCI Express x16 slots in your computer for that card. There is a difference between PCI, AGP, and PCI Express. I bought a GeForce 5200 FX AGP card from newegg for Do your homework, and make sure you have the correct interface
I like this idea. At least the part of it taking weeks for the battle to complete. It world be cool to have Partial control of the planet for a few weeks. If it looks like you will lose, raze all the improvements on the planet and retreat if there are available transport ships. On another point of interest in planetary invasion, I don't like the fact you have to kill every resident of the planet, have a good/evil choice to keep the non-combat
I like their type of humor as well as almost all low brow humor. I think its more of an age thing as most of their viewers tend to be in their 20's or younger.
I almost never use planet defense. I have a few tiny ships to gurad planets in case of a transport, and use picket fleets so I can initiate the battle. If I lose the initated battle, I'm more than likely hosed anyway. I do have a ground defense improvemnt on all my major planets just in case I'm waiting for a fleet to travel across a galaxy.
Today is the 1st time I've heard of Starforce. I don't buy many games anymore because I don't have the time to properly play them. Now I've got to check my computers for the crap because I bought X2 a couple years ago. I'll boycott X3 now because of this. BTW, what does Civ IV use? I know I need to keep the disk in the drive and that's it.
I have seen an AI fleet with significant experience (when compared to my ships). The Korx in one of my games had a fleet of heavy fighters with around 36 HP each. While that isn't nearly as much as you guys are talking about, my ships were inexperienced and could not take down that fleet in a battle with the same strength fleet battles. The kill ratio for them was 4 of my frigates to one of their heavy fighters. That single fleet has still not been
How do you make the freighters trade from different planets? What I mean is, my manufacturing planet makes the freighter, but I want my high pop trade world with no star port to be the base of my trade route. I've tried to have the freighter orbit the trade planet for a week, but it still defaulted to my home world (where it was built). Does the trade world need a star port?
It would be fine if some of the reviews weren't a couple of paragraphs long. CGW has been getting tight with the space they give the reviews lately, and with the lack of the game of the year (which GCII can no longer put on the box when they win it) CGW is starting to sink faster. I for one read Play more often than CGW because they do games in all formats as well as anime reviews. There game reviews are way too generous, but it helps me figure out what I want to buy for my PS2 and PSP as wel
The minor races will take over planets. One grip I have is you cannot see who the minor races are at war with or allied to. I like using minor races and usually keep the stongest one around as an ally.
Wow, if thats true about the rating stuff, I'm cancelling my subscription. PC Gamer is good you say?
Put it in as a militay starbase module and make the upgrades cheaper. That way, you spend time getting the ship to the base and you still spend money, but not as much.
In my current game, the Dark Yor actually have 2 planets. Did they actually take one over (I found them after the event occurred)? Has anyone else seen this?
But suddenly 2 of my starports are stuck with 0 turns to go to produce a ship but wont finish them Anybody know a work around for this? Ive tried changing the ship being built, reloading the game and yelling at them but nothing worked I've seen the same thing. I am playing unpatched however (didn't have time to check site, too bus
No sleep for you!!! If we can't sleep (too addicted), neither can you.
Stardock's job = Make computer software/game Take 2 Job = figure out the demand of the game and make sure there are enough copies. That’s not quite correct. Stardock is the publisher, so they have to figure out the demand and make sure enough copies are made. Take 2's job is to take the said boxes manufactured by stardock, store it until a co
Some people ar seeing them at Walmart. Check there if you don't mind supporting an evil empire
My wife picked up the last copy in the Broadway Best Buy in Tucson. She had the day off and I asked her to go and get it after lunch. She said that there was a group of guys at the last game talking about it when she excused herself and snached it from the shelf. Afetr she bought it, she said some guy offered her $100 for the game. She refused. I think I would have sold it for that much but thanks to
Remeber at easy games they AI will probably not be able to keep up with such a jump in military power. I think when you move up, the AI will be able to counter these ships.
Me likey this idea. I'm not a big fan of having to choose my opponents. Let the computer do that.
Is Take 2 trying to sabotage this game? No one retail seems to have it even in their warehouse and Best Buy has some but the release date is wrong. What is going on here?
I have a stupid question before leaving work, has anyone found this game in a retail outlet today? I tried calling EB and software etc and they both said tommorrow. Does walmart have it yet or are they behind as well?
