It's happening so early, though -- Is it just a fluke? I mean, I'm barely up to Stinger III's when they've been coming 'round. I'll start a new game and see if it happens again. :)

Hope I don't sound like I'm whining, but... What's up with the Dread Lords? It's still early in the game and they show up with like 3 ships and start tooling on me. Soon, my entire civilization is dust. Very frustrating. Is there a way to turn them off or delay them until later in the game when I can actually fight them? Thanks!
