Torians first, as has been said, they're so random and breed like rabbitts!... They die first in my games. Terrans second, I never get good trade deals with them and they tend to build alliances and love to exclude me for some reason... they die second.

I've seen this several times, pertaining to both major and minor races... But I havent seen these races become uber powerful or even slightly more powerful even after a significant period of time. Perhaps its not fully implimented?

Intersting idea I agree. I've seen this to varying degrees in other games, but I am agreeing with #3. What happens when you invade a planet that has built up quite nicely because the planets previous owners were a good match for the climate? Would you randomly destroy things to bring the PQ down to the new owners level? Wow... I suggest Prozac. Outside of the military yelling rarely makes anybody do anything faster, usually quite the opposite.
