Is it possible to buy a subscription for a third party? I have a friend who's very interested in graphics, and I thought a subscription would make an excellent gift for her. There sure is. On the 'Theme settings' tab there's an area marked 'reduce desktop'. Set the bottom value to the height of your bar and you should get the effect you are looking for. Hope this helps.

Holding down the Shift key while Windows boots (98 for sure, not sure about the others) will prevent all startup programs being loaded.

Hit the print screen button. This places your current desktop in the clipboard. You can then paste the image into any paint program and save it.
