just because you havent seen the pirates doesnt mean they dont exist. in many games. i've gotten a message that says as commerce grows etc etc.... there are now roving pirates etc etc. and there are random pirate ships and later on MASSIVE pirate fleets that do attack everybody. they arent fun in the later stage of games

i agree with seajay, we need to talk frogboy into adding a button that toggles the jewelry. you can add everything you want and then when you want to get to the real parts you click a box and it clears all the jewelry out of the bottom thing its in, leaving only the hull and anything already there, then when you wan to add more jewelry you click the box again and it comes back. i think a setup like that would help everybody a lot, especially the people

yes the nanoripper has a lot of power but it is very expensive, and the evil weapons are not overpowered, they are evil. most evil people have powerful weapons, and in comparison the good defences dont give as much defence, but they also are smaller which means you can have more of them. its all balanced out, and people have been trying to bring this up over and over again. perhaps it is the way it is, because thats how stardock designed it.

actually id like to see the building of a gate-like starbase, that can be built in pairs at opposite sides of the map, it could be a huge undertaking, but once completed there is a stable point that you can send ships to and then have them appear at the opposite base whereever you put it, could be extremely helpful in gigantic maps. but if you think about it, physically it makes more sense to have it flat and with an end then round. because in reality

just read the v1.1 post on the home page. the beta will be out later this week. which likely means friday. and that wont be the full 1.1 update it is as it says, a beta, so expect problems and bugs and crashes, as it will contain things that are new. and stardcok can't be expected to be able to make everything perfect all the time, so check SDC and it should be there by friday. with the full version 1.1 perhaps the week or 2 weeks after that. dependin

i've had this happen too, but... how long have you waited? sometimes when it minimizes after i've been playing for awhile and everything is pretty warm i get that black screen with the cursor, and it just takes awhile for it to kick back in.

i would love to be good, and i try, but free starbase upgrades, i just cant pass up usually. my next game i will be good though, because my empire is trying to compare all the evil weapon stats against the good defensive stats to see what works better. if you'd like to help or have any info join the colonial fleet and let us know!

well PC gamer generally gives scores of 80's to amazing games, the only games that really get the top 90 scores are something like half life 2. really, for pc gamer, 83 is a great score and if i had an online version i would have linked to the review, but i didnt want to retype the whole thing. it does mention that there is no multiplayer but that you can at least show off in the metaverse. they did mention a few thigns that pulled the score down a lit

PC Gamer has reviewed Galciv 2 in their latest issue, it however has not been posted on their website yet. "This game is the kind that grows on you like a fungus - a good one, if there is such a thing, not the type you might get after spending a week in the jungle (or one night in Bangkok). PC Gamer Final Verdict 83% Highs: Extremely configurable; lots of d

this is no place for something like that. if i knew who to send an email to at stardock i would, but i dont and i wouldnt want to bother brad with something as insignificant as this, but seriously people why would you even post something like this? maybe we should just bombard the forum with posts labled ban crazyjack, and maybe they'd get the point haha

actually i'll tell you how they do it. at normal i think they are actually normal all the intelligence is there and everything. (there is an exact answer floating in the forum somewhere) after that, the next level up they get a production bonus to make it harder for you, more production means faster producing of things and more money. each higher level gets a higher bonus. i think even frogboy said he has a hard time at the highest difficulty, but i c

i've not really had any problems, like everyone else has said if you really wanted help you should have asked and it would have gotten fixed proabably but instead you had to bash it on a forum full of people who like it, what did you expect to get back? oh.... and battlefield 2 was the best space game i've ever played (oh wait, that wasn't a space game) you've got a long way to go, but keep up the good work. haha. <img src="http://images.stardo

so? deal with it. its part of the game. you have to adjust and adapt and change your strategy. if you dont want to do that, well then use it to your advantage and always play as them, or never put them in your games.
