I was just talking to him and it also seems that we don't even see the same list of custom games. I can't see games he sees and vise versa.

I'm trying to play with my friend, but when I host a game he can't find it on the custom games list and when he hosts a game I can't find his. Am I just missing something really simple here?

I can do tuesdays. I was just a little hesitant because I have solid class most of tuesday, so if I did get a big chunk of homework or studying I needed to do things could get tight timewise. It should work though. I also have a friend who's picking up the game friday who might be interested. He's CO time as well and shouldn't have any conflicts. I'll get him to post here. TS sounds good to me. Its always nice to be social with the people you're planning to destroy. =P

This is my first post so far. I'm a lurker =P I don't have the game quite yet, should be getting here tomorrow, but this sounds like a good way to dip my toes into the MP action. I suck with timezones though. I THINK that you're an hour ahead of me. I'm on mountain time -7 I think. Colorado. Are you just one timezone west of me djtool? So you said mon-weds? I could probably do a tues or mon game, though monday would be my preference.

I'm new to any GalCiv. I read a preview a while back on GameSpy for GalCiv2. I decided to check it out. My only space turn based experience before this was some MOO2, which I enjoyed. I decided to give GalCiv2 a whirl and it seems to be paying off! Well worth the money.

Well, this isnt exactly a bug, but it is a problem for me. I dont have a middle mouse button thing, so.... I cant rotate the camera. I mean, the game is playable, but I was just wondering if there was any other way. I cant move my ships around to design them or get different angles on things. Anyone know of an alternative?

I'm feeling your pain. Luckily I got the main stuff of the game yesterday, but even the last few megs or whatever is left is taking forever. I have DL speeds of <1 BYTE. Not even a single kb. OH well. I'm at 10% now. Hurry little download bar, hurry!

Right, well, I tried posting this a minute ago but I dont know if it worked. If this is a double post, please forgive me. Anyway, I ordered Galciv2 yesterday and preloaded all of the files, and today I came home hoping to get the last files and start playing. I tried to update. Try #1: My connection timed out and it stopped downloading. Try#2: I get to about 27% done and then it says "Waiting 1 second" For 10 minutes. I cancel the download and try again.<br/

Hello there, I ordered GalCiv2 yesterday and pre downloaded all the files, and so today I hopped on to get those final few files and get playing. Unfortutenaly its not going quite like I had hoped. The first time I tried to download, my connection timed out. The second time it said "Waiting 1 second" for 10 minutes, so I canceled and tried again. Now Its supposedly downloading, but the fastest speed if 1kbs and that was rare. Its almsot always on <1byte per second. I'd rather not get my gam
