E£xploit 2 isn't an exploit, it's so that you're not going into the galaxy completely blind. Also to be realistic, stars are pretty noticable, so it would be unrealistic to NOT know where they are. Exploit 1 I hadn't noticed, and seems a genuine bug.

The majority of bugs I see are of the same small ones (ship building is tempremental, minor UI problems), nothing that in the least makes it unplayable for me. It's by design that allies won't just blindly follow you into wars you declare. They will normally help you against those who declare war on you, though. Otherwise it would just be game-breaking. Get 2-3 allies, and then use your combined might and ability to force your allies into wars to destroy each other civilisation one at a time. Well, I bit the bullet and cancelled my Amazon order to buy/download from stardock. I'm sure this won't please the retailers. Well if the retailers don't please the customers (providing the full edition), they can hardly expect the customers to please them in return by buying the game.

Just a guess, but the Yor are a bunch of walking talking toasters, so that would probably be why they have technology advantages over us organics. They also have key weaknesses to offset that, though.

Well I'd guess that since Brad is working on the AI, he's making at least some sort of a record of the games he plays through in order to figure out what's going right/wrong and what can be improved. It's not as big of a job to put up a battle report from there than it is from scratch. I like the battle reports - gives those of us new to the game an idea of what strategies work or not.

Well when you have fixed construction resources to do tasks A and B, there are two ways to do them. 1) Do task A. Then do task B. 2) Split your resources evenly and do tasks A and B together.
