I am experiencing the opposite, after a few turns the spinning icons go mad (planets and ships in the construction screen)and spin at an incredible speed. Again this has only been an issue with the new beta. I also get tthe main battle screen flickering really fast so that it is unwatchable Phil

I play on exactly the same settings, and believe me it is a real challenge. I do wonder if there is a difference in the AI intelligence if you set the races individually to the same than using the global setting. Maybe its just my imagination but it appears the AI plays better when set individually (all to intelligent) Phil
I have the same issue from a game saved previuously. Its a large metaverse game which i have nearly won so its very annoying. Phil
Ok guys, I just worked out the following: 4 Factories + colony gives 10+10+10+10+12=52 However, one of the factories is on a +300% tile so this gives a further 30 (I think) giving 82. playing as the humans I am on a 30% militarty bonus giving +24.6 for a total of 106.(rounded down?) Well the production bonus seems to be missing after the latest patch? I have planets with 300 and 700% prod bonus, if you look at the figures there is no difference from a standard tile? However it appears to work for food. Phil

I have just had my first crashes, 3 times in a row, at exactly the same position when I discover a specific star system. Game freezes and mouse will work but nothing else?? Can anyone tell me if my version should update from version 1 bonus pack when I have the updates from stardock? Phil
Hi I changed the server and refreshed the XML data. It did fail twice more on 2 seperate occasions,however I have now completed the download. I can only assume its pressure on the servers is causing errors with the data. Thx for the help. Regards Phil
I get the same error as above, except mine cuts out for all the files ie Multi, movies and tutorials in the middle of download with a CRC error, this is very frustrating Regards Phil

Hi I have had CRC errors when installing the Tutorials, I also had the same with the main game although it appears to work OK. Havent DL the sounds etc and movies yet, trying that now. Any suggestions? Regards Phil
