Maybe each party could have: - A greater Power, which you only have if it is your party. - A minor Power, which everyone have, no matter if it is your party or not. - A flaw, which everyone have. See, the minor and the flaw could be equal (or the minor better than the flaw?), I think the diversity would bring some depth and fun. The Minor and the Greater can be the same, it is just getting twice the stats if it is your party. <br/

Design a fast colony ship and design a slow and cheap colony ship, don't use the basic colony ship, it has a middle speed which is usually not what you want, if you know for sure you are going to be the first on a specific planet, build/buy a cheap colony ship...if you race for a spot, build/buy a fast colony ship and claim that planet. <
Personnally I always spread my colony ships and often manage to get pretty close to other homeworld. I always make the GOOD choice and I honey talk the Altarians and if I have a technology, no matter what, I sell it to the altarians. This nearly invariably lead the more evil races to menace me PRIOR they even get planetary invasion. I take a complete unegociable position. They declare WAR over me. The Altarians declare WAR over them. I give the plane
For some reasons, the game is having problem to be saved at all. It write saved and everything, but if you load, half of those saved (those I made manually) are corrupted and not working, which mean I have to relly on auto-save and such only...this is quite annoying. My computer runs Auto-Assault and Everquest II without as much as a flinch, but when he load a saved game I created for GalCiv2, he freezes, completely. Dunno what you guys do, but obviously there is something
I see no troubles selling any race any tech, as long as you can deal with them having it. I would even sell to empires I am at war... Depending on the tech and the situation on screen...but they doesn't offer anything worth it if you are at war with them, hehe. I only sell the tech I doesn't mind seeing everyone getting, I assume the computer will share between themselves or whatever, so before the computer does, if I sell anything to 1 race, I sell it to all races, someth
*shrug* You all sound logical and all, but I have no clues what you mean by doing all those stuff. And getting Stardock to ship the box would definitely be an option I want, I just have no idea how to do it. Just do this, just do that...Hey, I want it SIMPLE! I don't want to have to figure 93740174 features and stuff outside of the game, I want to play the game and have fun. In all honesty, I want the manual, the tech tree...and I was hoping for some
Well, when I buy a new computer, I may very well not remember that password. It is is some safekeeping somewhere. As for the gas, I already went to the shop 3 times. I am really angry at 2K, worst publishing ever. I want that box. I buy my games for ethical reasons and...for the box! You might think it doesn't mean much, but it does. With the box, the serial numbers are somewhat easy to find...now...they are in some safekeeping, obviously safe enough for me t
I decide to buy online after all, against my better judgment. But I am furious. I am missing my box (and no amount of online stuff will replace that box)...and now I have tons of info to keep in safekeeping...I want it SIMPLE, now it is not. Might have got 1 online sell more and 1 box less, but you also manage to pass from "Ally" to "Apprehensive", which IMO was not worth it. Word of Mouth and everything...<br/
I kinda doubt that Froggy Boy. What about customers who doesn't care to pre-order and check the game store on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd to find no copy of the game? The last time I pre-order EB try to charge me $69 for Shattered Union while it was only costing $29 at Future Shop and they have rows upon rows of them. I see no reason as to why I would care to pre-order after such an experience and been unable to play and seeing you catering to peoples who preorder d
There are issues in Canada...bad issues. I recommend they ditch 2K and find a worthy publisher next time.
Humans want personalize answers and they doesn't want to WORK when it is related to a hobby. No matter how much you dislike it, the customer is always right. Players expect the game to play without them having to read anything or do anything outside of the game, and honestly, I can't blame them. They pay for a product, they expect it to work. If for any reason it
I am pretty angry at the retailers as well. No matter how Stardock or 2k are going to be nice toward them and try to defend them, they, as retailers, lack a long time. I want the box however (purchasing online means I have the duty to keep a number in some sort of safe keeping, I don't want that duty), I dunno what to do exactly, but I am sure going to check Zellers before I ever trust those lousy folks for ANY future purchase (and Zellers happen to have about 50% of the ti
Well, GalCiv was what MoO III should have been. So I expect GalCiV II to be kinda what a MoO IV would have been in the correct tree! Can't wait...want to play...not in store...consider becoming a terrorist to activate games store...hmmm...
It is much better to be impatient with game stores...neither Ebay nor Future Shop as the game yet...so I start telling them I might consider buying online... But online = no box and no candy...I dunno, maybe there is a poster or something in the box! Have no fear, I learn to be kind with devs who make great games I want to play. Retailers have a harder life! <img s
