In my current game I have a class 28 planet, and I still have two undeveloped tiles (they're red), which I think will push it to 30. This came after a class 13 planet got hit by a random event that doubled its quality. It was in the hands of the Drengin, but I think my fleet left rubber trails in space with how fast they went to that planet to conquer it. The drengin were tough bastards in this game too, but I sure as hell wasn't letting THEM have that class 26 planet <img src="http

I'm still totally new to this game, and I'm having trouble invading enemy planets (the Drengin.) My fleets have wiped out all his orbital defenses, and are continuously hovering around the planets ready to pounce a single fighter as soon as it comes out of the shipyard (it's very cool that the AI realised his beam designs weren't working against my shields 8, and has switched to missile designs, that's awesome). So now I've been sending in troop ships to try to conquer his planet

I've tried to do this, but something seems strange. I packed up all the files into this one giant 1+Gig archive. Then on the machine I wish to port them to, I install Stardock, log on to it, go to "Restore Archive", and have it browse to the location where I saved the 1+Gig archive file. The funny thing is, it says it's looking for a zip file, when the archive is an .sdc file. But anyways, I'll select the file, and I immediately get an error about some sort of DLL corruption (I w

Every game is going to have bugs, and sadly, every game which has a public forum is going to have people bitching at it like it's the worst game ever. To be honest, I don't even blame the people bitching. Yes, sometimes they are stupid, other times they will have a valid complaint. ALL OF THEM, however, are terribly disappointed that the game doesn't work, especially if it's a title that has long been anticipated. When people are that distraught, they make dumb mistakes, or they

I'm enjoying the game so far, but I feel terribly overwhelmed. I've listened to all the tutorials and they make sense, but I'm still just going around, finding planets, colonizing them, and then just building a crapload of buildings on them, without really knowing what they do. For instance, I understand what a farm does, it allows you to have more people (shouldn't that be 4 billion people, rather than 4 million?). But what does a factory do? Is that production local to your planet?

Game is currently downloading from Stardock after GoGamer told me they weren't getting it till Friday or so. One thing you REALLY need to improve is explaining what happens when you're a completely new user and buy the game. To illustrate : 1) I go to Totalgaming.net, and purchase the game. I create an account, and it gives me (what I think) is a registration code. It tells me to download Stardock Central. 2) I install Stardock Central, and it asks me
